When Liverpool are on it they're absolutely mad.

Really hope we can win something this season. Worried about our defence though. Crazy that Chelsea have only conceded 4 goals, Liverpool got to Christmas only have in let in 7 a couple of years ago didn't they?

Looks like we were lucky to get away with a clean sheet today.

I did see the BBC live text summary after reading this post and laughed, it's going to be the football equivalent of murdered schoolgirl Millie Dowler...

Why were some Brighton fans booing last night? Granted not won since September but still 8th. Potter is doing a great job considering.

Wish we'd get a set piece coach though. Every time I hear about a free kick or corner I honestly dread it.

Frustrated at the club's perceived lack of interest in buying a proper striker

Who are Brighton's main strikers? Maupay and Welbeck? Always going to be struggling if you're still relying on those two, the latter especially. It was a glaring weakness a season or two ago, seems very odd if they don't want to address the issue.

Good win for Villa yesterday. There's been a marked improvement in the performance of some players recently, and Young seems to have been a great signing. Palace seemed to turn into Burnley at times, seemingly intent on injuring our players, but at least Zaha was kept fairly quiet - can't stand him.

Funny how literally 2 games ago people were saying that Gerrard was coming into a relegation fight by managing Villa. The reactionary, short-sighted opinions of some football fans is as infuriating as it is baffling. It's like people's memories of how football and football seasons work gets erased at the start of a season and they just blurt out this nonsense as if experiencing things for the first time.

And Trossard, but he's more of a winger but used as a forward.

What has annoyed a lot of people is that Maupay was in great form early in the season and then Potter benched him for five games straight for no discernable reason, which has obviously knocked his confidence.

Doesn't Maupay have history of disruption? Or have I imagined previous incidents with him?

Maupay's disciplinary issues are usually on-field with discipline.

Connolly is disruptive off the field, poor diet, breaking curfews, sulking etc.
