Oh well. Going the way I thought, could have done without the stress though.

At least I can chill now.

Liverpool must be thinking what might have happened, had they scored a second when Villa were 2-0 up and news of that filtered through to the Etihad.

As it is, a team has lost a 2-0 lead to City for the second time in two weeks and Liverpool's goals are now meaningless. The benefit of having it in your hands, I guess, though shipping three in five minutes shouldnt really happen.

To be joint top scorer without taking a pen as well.

Such a good recovery from us after the start of the season.

...and he renewed his contract last summer to absolutely no fanfare/drama. He's never linked with offers/rumours from bigger teams making an approach.

Season's been bit of a crazy ride.

Disappointing at the end for Arsenal but I still think it was a good season for them overall, bearing in mind the age of the squad and getting rid of a lot of Chaff etc.

4 out of the last 5 titles is a bit depressing. People talk about winning the PL is the hardest of the lot but, I dunno, as the fact they are richer than God just gives them the legs for a long 38-game race. It's telling that it's the one-off games in the CL where they struggle.

It's a bit depressing that Liverpool only lost twice this year but still don't claim the title. The fact City can pump so much money into their squad basically means others have to be nigh on flawless to even get close. This Liverpool team - albeit hardly financial minnows themselves - would usually be a side that gets more than one league win.

Well done Tottenham and Leeds. Well deserved CL and staying up.

Would actually like to have seen Arsenal get 4th but ill discipline is hard to have any sympathy for.

main thing i wanted this season was to make sure we got top 6 and at least be in the fight for a top 4 spot. We did just that and comfortably so, so not the worst season ever. can throw in a league cup semi final as well. just got to make sure we get a striker that can score goals.
