Crappy start, good job giving Man City a 4 point headstart. Urgh

Sadly it looks like player abuse is still going to be rampant this season.

Bunch of strawberry floating idiots. No point in banning them from attending matches either because odds on they don't attend them anyway.

Didn't know that ITV had La Liga rights. Is ITV 4 in HD?

Not around my way. The quality's appalling - might as well not bother watching, you can barely see what's happening due to the picture quality. Think it differs around the country though, so you might have it in HD depending on your TV package.

They have a grand total of 10 matches this season.

Cucurella replacement:

Allegedly this guy shut out Salah in the CL or something (don't shoot if that's not quite right, I saw that comment on Reddit).

I just really like the fact he's called Pervis.

I see Dele Alli's gone off to Besiktas. Just when you think he can't fall any further.

This would be so apt; he was born in a place called Failsworth.

I'm not sure buying Man United now makes any sense.
The current owners have seemingly run them into the ground with zero investment on the stadium and some very odd transfer choices.

I know I'm not a Man United fan but how do the fans see the club now as an investment opportunity?

Upgrading the stadium to modern standards is going to cost a fortune with even the new Luton Town FC new build which is tiny compared to Old Trafford being extremely expensive and that's before you take into account that it may mean years of reduced capacity as they build the new facilities.
I'm not even going to hazard a gues as to how much a team rebuild will cost as player prices at the moment are insane beyond belief.

It's why I was almost relieved Luton didn't get promoted as we have zero chance of competeing on transfer price or wages with any Premier League club as we don't have anywhere near the financial firepower.

So, would the Man United fans on here invest in the club?

Well the Glazers have done very well for themselves off the back of United's commercial operations, so yeah it's clearly a money printing machine and would be a sound investment.

It was in the past but now?
I'm not saying it would be a terrible investment, just that it will require huge amounts of money to get United back to where they were a few decades ago.

Will the money needed to invest give a decent return?

For me, I would prefer if the Glazers to go and let somebody to buy the club with who knows how football business works properly.
