But they didn't apply the rules for Doku. If you're going to make a decision as monumental as a yellow for what Trossard did, make sure it's applied consistently. There's no excuse for it not to be when you consider there's a VAR team + ref. Has to be zero tolerance or why bother.
Ok, but last season one of your players picked the ball up in open play during a Champions League Final game and completlely got away with it. Were you whining about consitancy then?
All Teams win some and lose some when it comes to refing decisions. Rice, on a yellow decided to kick the ball away and stop play. Not one Arsenal fan aknowledges this. Its all be about "What about consistancy".
Again today. Trossard made a bad decision whilst on a yellow, and again it's the world against Arsenal rather than maybe the player shouldn't be pulling that gooseberry fool on a yellow.
The fact that Arsenal fans follow possibly the 2nd best club in the League/world, have possibly the best defence in the world, play some of the best football in the world, yet just cannot for a second have the humility or self awareness to hold any of their players accountable or responsibile for their actions (and I'm not even talking about
"he who should not be named")
