Whilst I'm glad we've gotten rid of Keane, I do hope there was a stipulation in the deal that means he can't play against us this season, we play Spurs on the last day of the season it'd be a disaster if he scored and it cost us the game.

You cannot do that, the FA have deemed it illegal to have such a stipulation, only in loan deals can the player not play against his owners.

Sheffield Utd did it this season, not allowing Matthew Spring to play against them, hypocritical bastards, yet they get away with it.

Also we've signed Illunga on a permanent deal for about £1.5 million, which is great news.

How long's left on his contract?

If he's not signed a new deal since he joined (I don't remember it if he has) he's out of contract this summer. There'll be a tinge of sadness when he leaves. Can never fault his attitude, and of course his goal at OT last season will never be forgotten.

Very true. He's never whinged about being left out and always tried his best. Model pro in a lot of ways, he's just not very good. But he always, always puts a shift in.

As for the centre forward issue, I have faith in Big Phil. I hope he gets a proper run of games now alongside Bellamy. And if he scores I can post on his official website's guestbook again. 8-)

4-4-2? Never. Hell will freeze over before Hughes changes his one-up-front-at-all-times formation.

That is high for a 33 year old.

Can't understand why Liverpool would sell Keane without a replacement coming in?! It's like Benitez doesn't want to win the league.

Keane hardly played, now that Torres is back hes not needed, think of the chelsea game, a very important one. He wasn't even a sub. Plus, he clearly wasn't happy at Liverpool.

Shouldn't that be the sixth if he's basing it on genesis?

Judging by this season, the lazy bastard still hasn't quite mastered running.
