I strawberry floating hope so, Zenit have turn a simple transfer into a bloody nightmare, and lord knows we need to get Eboue, Song and Diaby out of our starting 11 ASAP.

Hopefully when Eduardo is fully match fit it'll give Adebayour a kick up the backside!

Arshavin has already signed, everything is done but the premier league need to confirm it. Although the way this has gone I would not be surprised if something else happens! He will wear the no.23 apparently.

That is high for a 33 year old.

Can't understand why Liverpool would sell Keane without a replacement coming in?! It's like Benitez doesn't want to win the league.

Keane hardly played, now that Torres is back hes not needed, think of the chelsea game, a very important one. He wasn't even a sub. Plus, he clearly wasn't happy at Liverpool.

What happens if Torres gets injured again though? You have N'gog and Kuyt, hardly good strikers.

And if Torres is injured. He has suspect hamstrings - even a slight strain will cost Liverpool dear. Unless you think kuyt, riera and the others i can't even remember will stand forward and deliver.
Football has a way of biting people on the arse. i'm having a bet that Keane will score against Liverpool in their last game. Its not that he has been great but its the bare faced strawberry floating lies that benitez has said. Why not just say i dont rate him and will offload him given the chance - but not cheaply. He is a manipulative, underhand sneaky bastard and I hope he gets what he wants.

All of his comments recently have been calculated to get him leverage and secure his power base at Liverpool. Good. Hope he succeeds. Because he is not a premiership winning manager and never will be.
Long may he reign at anfield!

The main problem Liverpool has is the squad rotation. I hate it, the back 4 and midfield players never know who theyll play next to in the next game. Keane aside, unless he sorts that out Benitez will never win the premiership.

Benitez, isn't that bad a manager. He's made progress, and the team are genuine challengers for the title. Despite, all the gooseberry fool that's going on in the club. Patience is what's needed. Look how long it took Ferguson to win the title.

Fact is, if Liverpool were to get rid, Real Madrid would take him in a heartbeat.

This.

Also, Keane was gooseberry fool for us. Don't mind us losing a bit we've still got most of our money back. We should have bought a replacement though.

Like Ive said Stig. You and I are both happy that benitez is the manager. Both happy with his progress and his influence and position at the club. I just think that in time you will be less happy and i wll be even more happy!

I have never said he is gooseberry fool. Just not what Liverpool need. He may prove me wrong. If he does i will be the first to say so.

And citing Madrid's regard as a plus point is hardly a glowing recommendation. Look at how they are run and how they do business and ask what they will win this season.

I am so glad to have Keane back, especially with Defoe out for a while, but still reckon we will get relegated unless we win 2 away games, which is unlikely now. Also our final 3 games are all losses, so unless we start to win a few in a row its over for us.

Is anyone else wondering whether Arshavin will be worth all this bother if we do get him?

The alternative is keep playing Eboue until Walcott and Rosicky come back, yes he's worth it!

I did this by severing my real arms and replacing them with super-human cyborg arms.

Because thats what Arsenal need, another striker. :fp:

They needed a decent playmaker to replace Cesc while he is out, and all Russian players are rubbish. :P

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

He is an attacking midfielder.

It is the playmaker that we could do with.

Ok then.

I wouldn't worry about it. I can't see us turning it around this season, so Villa have nothing to fear about us catching up.

He may be brilliant, but yeah at the moment Im hoping for a 4th place, but we have Chelsea in a few games and I reckon we can turn them over.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

He's a very good player (as seen in the Euros) it just depends where Wenger wants to put him, his best position would probably be 2nd striker but van Persie plays there so it looks like he'll probably go on the wing, I don't think he has the physique to be a central midfielder.
