Hull have agreed a fee for Frazier Cambell. Good buy imo.

Argh! Always pisses me off me when our youngsters aren't given a chance to break through.

If he's being moved on because of Welbeck and Macheda... keep Campbell and get rid of Welbeck.

Wellbeck seems the talented of the two from what I seen even though he is selfish. But yeah Fergie rates him highly that he told Capello he would make his world cup squad next year.

If it means I don't have to listen to strawberry floating Craig Burley ever again then it will be worth it!

There's something I don't like about Welbeck. Too cocky and lackadaisical for someone so young... :o Berbatov Jr! Nooooooo!

j/k!

Someone else will no doubt step in (ESPN probably) and then all the gooseberry fools who piss you off will be back in work.

From the comments section in the TimesOnline link

And while I can understand why Sky won't support them (they are a competitor after all) they may regret not supporting a weak competitor and letting in a true challenger in such as the rumoured ESPN.

Good point.

I was secretly hoping that rumour about Setanta becoming part of the Sky Sport package would happen... either Sky have no interest, or it'd be against EU rule about one broadcaster having all the games (****ing twats) or Setanta didn't fancy the idea of being gobbled up into Sky.

To be fair, Titus Bramble has had an outstanding season for Wigan.

I pray that it will at least be someone with a HD channel that picks up the premiership games. Anyone but ESPN, bascially. Eurosport, BBC or ITV, I don't care as long as it's one of them.

Just so we're clear - I despise Craig Burley and if Setanta wasn't free for me, I probably wouldn't have it.

However - remove Setanta and you remove the competition that Sky face. Remove Sky's competitor and prepare for price rises (where else will you find live football other than Champs League, FA Cup and home internationals on ITV?) and more control from Sky on what they show.

The death of Setanta is most definitely a bad thing.

So there's no chance of ESPN taking over? Wasn't there was a rumour of their hooking up with someone else -Virgin I think- and bidding for Premier League packages a while ago? Don't they have the financial clout and experience of running sports channels to take on Sky?

We need a quality, experienced centre back if we're going to progress, not an oaf like Bramble. Collins and Ferdinand are both superior, and Davenport excelled when on loan here and would be a much better buy.

No, it's just fashionable to hate them!

It's because they are gooseberry fool. Well in my experience they are. Every game I've watched on Setanta has had some kind of freezing/crashing/loss of signal.

The freezing is the worst thing. I signed up to Setanta to watch the Wimbledon cup game versus Wycombe and the match was barely watchable, jumping and freezing all the way through.

I'm more annoyed with losing the PGA coverage as that's pretty decent despite constant adverts.

You'll all no doubt be delighted to hear that Oz have made it through to the World Cup finals.

Would anyone be up for a Confederations Cup Fixture Feeling? Starts next week and lasts about 2 weeks. Chances are Spain will dominate but should be good though.
