Fully expect The Last of Us to clean up and win GOTY even if it clearly should be Animal Crossing.

Nice to see Fallen Order get some love after it missed the cut off last year too

Think the categories are wrong, I can't see Half Life Alyx in the game of the year category.

How does Among Us get nominated if it came out in 2018?

As great as the other GOTY games are, Hades should win it.

I suppose they're looking at it from the social sharing aspect and how big an impact that had...rather how deeply flawed the execution of it that it was

Yeah I love the game but the multiplayer is so badly implemented to great detriment of the experience. It really doesn't deserve praise. Plus the whole single-island limitation is at least multiplayer design adjacent.

From these picks Hades would take a lot for me. As someone without accessibility issues TLOU2 appears incredibly robust to a point I've not seen before, so I really won't be surprised for it to win that. Best performer too probably (Abby would get my vote)

Yakuza Like a Dragon should win best RPG the more I play it the more amazing I find it, it's now become one of my favourite ever games I've purchased during the first few weeks of a consoles launch.

https://www.youtube.com/user/kerr9000 for my YouTube channel. where you can find my Horror House and GamesRoom Reviews[b]I can also be found as kerr9000 on the Xbox, and My Instagram is kerr9000gamesroom and its mostly photos of old games and horror movies.

Only one I've seen with any legs is a Yakuza leak for the 15th anniversary on the 8th. Otherwise the usual Smash and Silent Hill rumours that are constantly thrown out.

Ahhh yeah, I could see the next Smash DLC getting announced, maybe it ties into the Yakuza announcement and we get Kiryu in Smash

I imagine it’ll get released roughly a year before Metroid Prime 4 comes out, it’ll act as a cracking piece of advertising as a lot of Switch players might not have even played a Metroid Prime game in their time.

I still remember Eurogamer saying the Prime trilogy on Switch was "ready to go" about 2 years ago.

I think most people will be playing Cyberpunk instead since it’s released the day before the awards. Would be interesting to see the viewing figures afterwards compared to previous years.
