Very good list!

Between Control, Resi 2 and Sekiro for me.

I'd probably plump for Resi.

I don't know how Twitter tags work on here.

Absolute bollocks. As usual.

EDIT: If you need any proof that this thing is a useless strawberry floating PR event

They organised it so badly that there's a dead zone, which one of the biggest games of the year has fallen into.

There is no dead zone. From the website:

Games eligible for The Game Awards this year must be available for public consumption on or before November 15, 2019. Titles that are released after this date will be eligible for The Game Awards ceremony in 2020. (Similarly, games that were released in December 2018 are eligible for this year’s awards).

So Fallen Order was eligible, just ignored.

Well if the eligibility is start of December until middle of November then there's a dead zone at the end of November each year?

I think you misread the quote-it says titles after November 15th 2019 are eligible for the The Game Awards 2020.

I’m more surprised that Control is nominated.

At best I thought it was a 7/10 game.

But why the arbitrary date of November 15 and why is last year's cut off just a vague "December". Just seems a bit loose and random, why not have the same dates each year?
