Gem! Welcome to being one of the Committed! Six games might be challenging... I've added you to the opening post, dude.

A year or so I would have agreed with you on it being a challenge, but I think I can manage buying no more than 6 titles over the course of the next 12 months. We shall see!

I looked and realised I bought 6 games over the last year so can I cut mine down to 5 to make it a challenge please? :)

Also, I assume my PS plus "free games" don't count? :shifty:

Yeah, details now updated to 5, Prototype - and PS Plus games don't count towards the total :-).

I think this thread is interesting and I will follow it and enjoy it but its not something I could do.... I have probably said buying old games cheap and such acts as a release valve for my stress, if I took that away you'd probably find me going nuts lol

I'm currently trying to avoid buying a few games sat in my Steam cart, not sure I can resist.

Well, we're past the first week... no game purchases made!

I have to admit that I was tempted by a few things in the sales but I made myself look away. The name of the game now is more playing, less buying!

I bought 6 games just this morning so I’m glad I didn’t participate.

You can still join in, jiggles! I could put you down for, say, 237 games?

True, man. I do have a wee "get out" clause, though... I didn't include DLC in my "max 12 games" target. So whilst I've made a great start in not buying games (one-and-a-half weeks so far :datass: ) I kinda could download a few DLC bits n' pieces; something to tide me over... :shifty: .

OP needs a DLC clause, stat. I'm going to suggest that if your DLC purchase costs total that of an average 'triple-Ayeeeee' game (say £55-60) that should count as one.

Heehee! I'm not planning on getting much, Balla. I'll stick with the "12 games" goal but *if* the DLC adds up then I'll note it here. No big plans right now, though. The project continues!

So far my commitment for buying zero games has... Actually worked.

Hey, Gecko, if you wanted to join in then I can add you to the records in the opening post? Just need to know what your "maximum number of games purchased" target is for twelve months.

My commitment is zero games for as long as possible, up to and including, one year.

Wow! Fair play, GG... that is a seriously tough target! I've added the details to the OP.
