Whilst it has technically buggered my list of new games purchased this year so far, the main thing for me is I’ve still spent less than £25 so far this year on games which is great.

That's a lot of exchanging going on, Milner! I've added all of your trade-ins as a list in a spoiler section under your name in the OP :-).

Cheers Jawa :toot: but yeah it’s took a big knock against my 24 total  but I’m happy that I’ve not actually spent any physical money on them

I didn't actually count them as being towards your total, dude; as you haven't really bought them - no money was needed. So, you remain at 2 purchased games... and one of those was just £3.99. Nice moves!

If I rob someone at an ATM machine and use that money to buy games, does it count towards my total?

When I don't really have any sort of plans to curb my gaming spending habits, I still can't really afford to spend money on games all the time. No limit, but I do want to note what games I've purchased.

Off my head:-

Dying Light (PC) - £2.99
Plunder Panic (PC) - £FREE
Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver (PS1) - £15 (I think)
Medievil (PS4) - £12
Death come True (PC) - Gift from mate
New Pokémon Snap (NSW) - Gift from Mum
Dark Souls Remastered (XB1/XBS) - Gift from Kaz
Yakuza: Like A Dragon (PC) - £26, but birthday money
God of War (PC) - £29, but birthday money

Think that's all, I probably forgot some but that's most of them anyway.

The way things have gone in February, this might now be a legit option.

Hey, Seven. The idea behind this thread is to have some sort of "target" for game purchases; a set amount of games or a set amount of cash. I'm wondering if, in your case, Milner's Bought/Played/Completed thread may suit your needs better?

I'd love for this thread to be a place for your gaming progress but, without a target, it feels like that other one would fit a lot nicer, dude? :-).

Okay, guys, I gotta come clean with you. I bought a game today and it was a bit of a silly purchase; I have the game on disc but I wanted it digitally and I succumbed to buying it. I've updated the OP.

The upshot is that, just over three months into my year target, I'm up to 6 games of the 12 maximum. Dang.

Heehee.... no! .

It was Elden Ring. I bought it on disc for PS5... and I know that I'm gonna really enjoy it so I talked myself into getting the download version as I can then then play it on both PS5 and PS4 (the latter of which I can stream from my desk).

Right now I have a weird mix of feeling great and bad.

Never mind Jawa, there's always next year... (if you can get an app that blacklists DekuDeals etc. by 2023).

I just got so close to ordering two games. I spent a while with one in the basket and then added another. I eventually gave myself a slap and sacked 'em off, quickly closing down the web browser. So... uhm, that's that, then.

What were they, jawa?

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I was looking at three Switch games... Disco Elysium initially, and then Monster Hunter Stories 2 and Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning. I had a cool-down period, reminded myself that I already have games to play and then walked away!

Which games that you owned before the period have you made progress in, Jawa - and which are next on your list?
