*In terms of meaningful content, at least.

Having only recently discovered his ranty, introspective look at gaming only a few days ago, this guy makes as many valid points as Yahtzee does in his entire repertoire of video blogs. I strongly suggest checking him out.

Yahtzee wins on the accent stakes though.

Cant argue that.

Anyway, a couple of stand-out episodes are 6 and 11, though I HIGHLY recommend watching them all.

P.S. There's also lots of gratuitous titty shots in some of the later ones.

I just feel Yahtzee has come too widespread for his own good, he's been caught up in his own success meaning all of his newer ones are rather bad. I'll check out this guy in the morning.

The content is really good but in that video his delivery is a bit forced and it's all a bit too similar to ZP.

Well at first I thought he was a pretentious douche riding off the back of Yahtzee's fame to get recognition on the internet and thinking that within a 10 minute segment he can say the most profound thing to ever grace mankind, which by only watching the first video is completely understandable.
But he's actually raised some incredibly clever ideas and produced some fascinating and *cough*profound*cough* video, which are very thought provoking and seem to demonstrate what Yahtzee was trying to do before he built the illusion of self importance and ignorance that he now has to maintain every week.

Actually after watching the whole video I've changed my mind. Top stuff, definitely more relevant than ZP (shows how fast the internet world moves).

Colour me impressed.

I recommend episode 4 The End of the World as Wii Know It. Reminds us that this casual gamer takeover has happened once before.

I watched the first video. Frankly he does make a good point about a general lack of "zany" games but the video is too long, the swearing sounds forced, he makes factually incorrect statements and his Nintendo fanboyism is irritating. I can only imagine the rest of the videos will be along the same lines so I think I'll pass.

Hearing him talk about Bowser kidnapping Peach being a political powerplay is a little hilarious

His accent is really grinding though.

I think I prefer Yahtzee talking about individual games and stuff relevant to them. This guy can meander a little and some things he were saying I thought were a bit exagerrated. And the accent, of course.

Too over the top with swearing too.

Needs a real microphone, but the GTA4 video is very clever and a lot more analytical and conclusive than Yahtzee (although I know he is capable of that too and Zero Punctuation is a deliberate farce).

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."
