Cheers,

If you get the chance, try the strategies out and see if they were easy enough for you to recreate. :D

Another 45 copies sold yesterday, putting me 38th in the UK reference paid section. And one 5 star review on the US store for the guide too. :)

I'm working on the Deniable Ops and story co-op guides today to add into an update before I fly out on Tuesday.

The main issue here is that I'd be a bit 'late to the party' as the game has been out a while. As Splinter Cell has proven, if I can get a game guide out before anyone else, I stand to do better from it and I managed to get Conviction early, with Pokemon I couldn't. :(

I would've liked to have done a full FF13 guide for launch, but playing through the Japanese version wasn't easy. I missed the boat with Bioshock 2 and Just Cause 2, so I essentially have to assess which games I can pretty much get a guide ready for, for day 1 (where possible) and then work my way through the bigger titles as quickly as I can.

You can set up a US iTunes account without any sort of payment or whatever, andy.

Use one of your redeem codes to do it and then you don't need to put in any payment. Alternatively, log out completely, go to the US app store and try to download a free app. When you reigster it won't ask you for payment details.

Never thought about using one of my own codes to bypass it! :fp: Cheers for the heads up!

Even though I made a note in my description on my description page, it appears someone didn't notice it and gave me 3 stars because the co-op and PEC challenges weren't in the guide yet...

Seems I need to update my description and put it at the top that the update with all that in it will arrive asap. :fp:

Nice to see the logo up there in the top right, hopefully that'll get you more exposure.

Might I suggest you get someone like Mockmaster to design you a more...professional looking logo though? :shifty:

I can't pay anyone for anything just yet, so he'd have to be willing to do it for free. :( I'll give him a PM and see what he thinks.

Mockmaster's a legend. I'm sure he'd be happy to help.

I can make it shiny if you want. The layers are all there in the template I sent you.. if you tried those?

I tried it with the shine and it didn't look right tbh, it worked better with the image I used as-is. I'll pm mocky later to see what he's willing to do. Cheers :)

Does the SCC guide come with info on how to successfully complete P.E.C challenges?

For some reason I can't seem to complete most of them, even though I'm doing exactly what the description says. :? :(

...

I bought your GoW3 guide, didn't really need it but it was very well put together with some very good info that probably would have come in very handy if I had still been playing.

:)

I'm currently on holiday, but as soon as I get back home on sunday I'll be getting pec challenges, co-op and the rest added in for an update due middle of next week. Sucky timing with the holiday, but what can you do?

A bit of a warning for anyone else wanting to develop iPhone apps, Apple won't pay you any money you've earned until you have made $150US equivalent in THAT countries currency.

So lets say you sold $100US worth of apps in Australia, until your pot of THAT currency reaches $150US worth, you won't see a penny of it. Whereas Apple themselves, are earning interest on it from day one!

So if you're not doing so well in some currencies, tough gooseberry fool! You'll never see that money from the legitimate sales you've made! :o

Cheeky strawberry floaters. :x

I'm going to start looking at other avenues to sell my guides on other handsets as well as iPhones and bypass Apple's gooseberry fool system altogether.

My Splinter Cell Conviction guide update has been submitted to Apple 20 minutes ago, and it covers co-op story mode and the PEC Challenges in full.

Deniable ops (Hunter, Face Off, Last Stand and Infiltration tips) will come in the next update. :)

Topic has just 'Alber'd' on me... :(

Anyways, Apple rejected the 1.1 Splinter Cell guide update reporting that it was crashing their 3GS test unit. This is bizarre because the place where they state it's causing the crashing (selecting the Washington museum in single-player mode) is the EXACT SAME code as the one that sailed through the first time! (v1.0)!  :fp:

So IDGI, how can the same code - that's been tested on a touch rigorously - all of a sudden crash in an area that was accepted before and was never changed???

I'd say Cheeky strawberry floaters is a bit kind and instead plump for thieving bastards.

Also if I like RDR and the guide is up in good time you've got a sale here
