I mean it's pretty ugly, but it does the concept of being-really-loud better than the other two worse-still designs.

I like Exploud and its pipe organ kaiju shtick slightly better, and prefer Whismur as a design. It's pretty generic pink blob, but it's better than Loudred (IMO).

Being the prettiest of the Aipom evolutionary tree is like being the member of the Chansey tree with the highest attack.

I prefer Magnazone myself. It's better than 3 pokemon just stuck together

While I prefer Pikachu to Raichu normally I really like Alolan Raichu.

Meowth is better than Persian, blue meowth and blue Persian are gooseberry fool. Purrserker is better than moewth.

I also really like Porygon Z, more so it's shiny. But I do prefer Porygon to Porygon2

Bulbasaur is the best in it's line.

When it comes to Syther i prefer Scizor.

I'm just looking at the last few posts, I can't really think off the top of my head right now, I suppose I could look at a pokedex, but I'm lazy and can't be arsed.

All true, they should just quietly drop Persian and replace it with purrserker

I really like some of the more recent evolutions for older Pokémon though, Electivire and Gliscor to name a couple.

Raichu is better than Pikachu and I'll engage in fisticuffs with anyone who says otherwise. :capnscotty:

Alolan Raichu maybe…. Standard Raichu isn’t from a pure design point of view in my opinion.

How long do people expect Pokemon Bank to exist? I bought extra copies of ORAS and USUM to have around for Shiny Hunting Legends via soft resetting (since the Switch killed that method). Nintendo are usually one of the worst for cutting things off early, but it would also mean any Pokemon from before the Switch era become impossible to move forward, which feels like would be a pretty big deal. In the last 6-12 months I've played a pretty insane amount of Pokemon (completed Crystal, Sun, Let's Go Pikachu, Sword and Shield, Brilliant Diamond and now on Arceus, as well as finishing off a living Dex in Ultra Moon), and to be honest I don't really want to go through these games again right now, but I'm wary the clock is ticking on Bank. I know you can get them all shiny in Dynamax Adventures, but quite a few of them have attacks that hit the whole team, and are extremely hard to beat without a team of people AND having a good path that gives you the right Pokemon. Even with odds of 1 in 100, stuff like Groudon and Kygore wipe the NPC team out 9 times out of 10 and would almost certainly take many, many more hours than soft resetting on the 3DS. Zygarde is even worse, but he's Shiny Locked in everything pre-Gen 8 anyway.

I can see them shutting it down at the end of the year so I'm going through Ultra Moon now and hoovering up all exclusives. Might restart Pokemon X if I have time.

Pokemon Go question- For the pokemon which can only be evolved by making them your buddy and doing a specific task, does the task need to be done in one go? For example to evolve Pancham into Pangoro, you need to make Pancham your buddy and catch 32 dark type Pokémon.

If I made pancham my buddy and caught 31 dark pokemon then switched buddies, when I eventually made pancham my buddy again would the count reset and I would need to catch 32 dark pokemon or just 1?

EDIT: Turns out it does save your progress.
