I've used Gengar in my team in a ridiculous number of pokemon games. I love that purple bastard.

Yeah Gengar is a great Pokémon, used it in a fair few teams throughout various runs of Pokémon, one of the few Pokémon who I think has been consistently great in all the games its been in. I still kind of wish it was still dark purple like in the earlier games where it looked a lot more mischievous as opposed to the lighter purple we have now, very minor complaint about a great Pokémon though

In general, Ash’s team is very good in the anime this time round, got to be up there with his team from the X/Y series.

Sadly they seem to be, luckily I have to go into the city anyway before the 30th of September (still a worrying thing to type that Doncaster is now a city rather than a town) so it doesn’t make much difference to me. Online codes would be loads easier though.

Huh apparently there are no Games near me anymore. Must have closed because of the pandemic. Thankfully I already had genesct and marshadow.

Another reason why in store code distributions aren’t as good as WiFi, it’s harsh to potentially penalise a player if their local store has shut for whatever reason, just checked that my local one is open and luckily it is.
