Four shows in London. Time to see how well the "pre-order my album to get a pre-sale link to make sure the tickets get to the fans" strategy worked :lol:

Was it better than their Glastonbury set then? I don't know if it was because of his laryngitis but it was not a good performance. Absolutely murdered some of their older songs like Fluorescent Adolescent by playing them too slowly and just sounding bored. Can't believe they didn't find room for A View From The Afternoon and When The Sun Goes Down in a headline festival set too.

I haven't watched the Glastonbury set so I have no idea.

Seen Monkeys at the start of the month and it was amazing. Sounds like it was much better than the Glasto set.
Seen Muse last week, strawberry float me it was amazing.

Laryngitis is code for "I did too much drugs and I'm still so strawberry floated I can't face a gig". Coogan is terrible for it, goes on a binge after a show and then cancels a load due to Laryngitis.

Took my teenage son to his 1st Muse gig at Mk Bowl on Sunday.

So hot, no shade once inside. Free water refills was a welcome thought from the venue. Queue for the limited number of food stalls were stupid at times though.

Muse were fantastic as expected. Royal Blood decent and the all-sister Mexican 3-piece The Warning were ok although their cover of Enter Sandman was questionable.

No trouble getting in or parked as we got there 1230. Saw a few people saying they turned around and went home as roads were closed and prepaid parking was already full.
However getting out was a nightmare. Took 2hrs to move! No organising or traffic stewards till almost midnight.

Got home 1.30am.

Worth it though

Iron maiden at Glasgow hydro last night was phenomenal nothing beats the feeling of belting out Fear of the dark in a crowded floor. Also Lord of the lost who were this years Germany Eurovision entrants were waaay harder then i thought they would be.

Got tickets to the Foos in Caridff next year :datass:

Despite Ticketmaster being their usual useless banana split selves, I also eventually managed to get tickets.

I got to the payment stage about 20 times before Ticketmaster said "something has gone wrong".

Fully expecting them to charge me thousands. :lol:

It took forever for me on the payment stage but eventually went through. I really thought it was going to chuck me out after queueing for 30 minutes.

It chucked me out countless times. Then it started letting me do the payment, even getting to the stage where I had to authorise it on my banking app, before chucking me out again.

Only one payment showing on my bank account, so I'm hopefully safe from going thousands of pounds overdrawn :lol:

My Mrs was getting them and was texting saying it kept either crashing or kicking her back out.

It's pretty ridiculous I'm going to Cardiff to watch them because they're literally playing 15 minutes from my house at Villa Park....but all my mates from down there are going so will be more fun than dragging my missus along here who doesn't like them.
