Think the ticket has been sorted now. Getting them posted to my mates house because we are going there before we head to Leeds on Wednesday morning. Such a simple solution - can't believe I didn't think of it sooner!

Just booked tickets to see Apocalyptica in December at the ABC in Glasgow. I really want to go and see Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry and Airbourne near the end of the year, but I cant really justify the cost. I think I'll just have to put them in a hat and pick 1 of them. Well, I could afford them, but I'm determined not to break my 'save more money' idea when I've only been doing it for a month :(

Remember I told you about that Metallica gig for the members of their fanclub? Well details have emerged now...

A few more tidbits about the upcoming events in Berlin and London
Greetings on a Monday evening. A few weeks back we told you about two events coming up on September 12 in Berlin, Germany, and September 15 in London, England to celebrate the release of a certain record. Time for more details!
First off, how about a location? The fabulous 02 World in Berlin and 02 in London will be the sites of our little bashes . . . and we're really excited that in Berlin this will be the very first event at the brand new arena. As we mentioned before, we want to hang with some of our closest friends from the Fan Club and Mission Metallica, so tickets will only be available to those of you registered on the sites. More details on how to get those tickets and when they go on sale will be posted later this week.
Because this is a celebration, tickets prices will be, shall we say, “retro?” Only ten Euros for Berlin, five pounds in London! And the best part is that all the proceeds from the sale of tickets will be donated to local charities. We want everyone to have a chance to join us, so there will be a two ticket limit per member, and you will only be able to pick up your tickets at the box office on the day of the show.
Check back here for dates and times for the ticket sales, and in general more information at the end of this week.

Two tickets per member? That sucks. However I am there, obviously.

Guess I'll have to register now. Joer, link me do?

There's either here or here.

I may pay for a membership, just to be sure.

I'm quite tempted to sign up and grab tickets. Because of the date though I'll have to go on my own and I don't know if I can be bothered.

Joer, I am relying on you to be an early bird with this when the tickets go on sale.

Registered with... free one or paying? I've only got a free membership to Mission: Metallica so i'm not sure if that'll be enough.

Free with Mission Metallica. You think I can afford to pay for memberships?

Well it doesn't say that you need to be a paying member to be able to attend, so in theory it should be fine.

I can imagine alot of people will be signing up just for this gig though, so I want to be safe. I don't want to end up paying silly money on eBay for a £5 gig!

Signed up for free membership, hope tickets don't on sale while I'm at Leeds though.

God, Reading is only two days away. Getting the train at 6 in the morning and should be there at quarter past eight including the bus ride. Just cannot wait, so many people I know are going and I get to meet someone who I've been chatting to on MSN for ages (she's going to the same Uni as me) which is awesome. Bands I'm most looking forward too?

1. Queens of the Stone Age
2. Rage Against the Machine
3. Metallica
4. Feeder
5. The Killers
6. Pendulum
7. Bloc Party

Just this minute wrote down what bands Im aiming to see on a nice wallet sized piece of paper. I think Im too organised ...

Friday: Staying put at the main stage all day. Will hopefully get a good spot for Metallica too. Just remembered I need to meet up with someone who is coming down in the afternoon, so might have to sacrifice seeing a band for the banter to be had during the Metallica set :(

Saturday: Serj Tankian, Biffy Clyro, Goldfinger, QOTSA and RATM. I've got the times noted down, so Ill probably follow my mates around the rest of the time

Friday: The Subways, Flogging Molly, Bullet For My Valentine. Then I'm not sure whether to go and see Manic Street Preachers or The Killers. Not a huge fan of either band so whoever my friends go and see will dictate that choice

Also what happens after all the bands finish at 11? Do other things go on or does everyone head back to the campsite for drinkies?
