Again though it's two bands who have headlined the festival in the last three or four years. I get the appeal of Sabbath - at this stage of the game every time you see them might be the last - but the pool to draw big name headliners from is stagnating by the year. :(

I saw Sabbath at Downpour festival in 2012 and a man behind me pissed on my shoes. Probably one of the worst gigs I've ever been to because of it.

Also Sabbath were shite.

Me and a mate got hit by a pint of piss at Pendulum, TITP 2008. Festival-goers are banana splits sometimes.

yeah I've had a couple of piss cup splashes too! a friend once even took a direct hit on the chest from it. it's absolutely strawberry floating disgusting, especially when you've to sleep in it (I was wearing shorts so piss all over my legs + camping) or sit in the car home with no change of clothes or anything. horrible.

I seen Sabbath last year (I think?) and yeah, they weren't great live. But that's to be expected, the three of them are from the Jurassic period. Tony has had health issues over the last few years, Ozzy is pretty much a vegetable. Still glad I seen Tony and Geezer anyway, despite the performance.

That was the time I saw some twat filming the show on his laptop. He just held his computer up above the crowd :fp:

Nah dont get me wrong I saw their first gig since 2005 in the Birmingham Academy in 2012 the month before Download and they were fantastic, maybe it was just that seeing them open air didn't compare. Also saw them at the Odyssey in... whenever they played Belfast after the album came out, and they were way better there, too. The festival just seemed like the sort of show that people will talk about and convince themselves was good - whether or not it actually was being an entirely different issue...

Rammstein just let the cat out the bag on who the third Download headliner is.

It's Rammstein, funnily enough.

I'd repeat my monologue about the same old bands(they headlined in 2013 with Iron Maiden) but I really like Rammstein and now I want to go.

That's done the complete opposite for me. Saw them when they played that year with Maiden and just wasn't impressed at all. Fire doesn't make up for gooseberry fool music as far as i'm concerned. Will have to have a really strong line up to convince me to go for the weekend now, otherwise I might go for a day ticket on Maiden day.

I love Rammstein, love Mutter, Sehnsucht, Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da and Herzeleid and am a massive fan of their live show. They're pretty tight on the music as well. The only thing stopping me from shitting my money out on a ticket when they're released, other than the fact that I don't have any, is that this would be the third time in six years I've been to a festival headlined by both Maiden and Rammstein(Sonisphere 2010, Download 2013, Download 2016).

Seen U2 at The O2 in London on Sunday, first time at the O2 and it was magic, to top things off I was in the section right next to Noel Gallagher / Natalie Imbruglia and spoke to Noel. Got home on the Monday and I seen on Tuesday he performed with them on the Monday Night, wish he would have done that on the Sunday, ah well!

She is most definitely! Looked like she was with her sister, she is proper small, she video'd Where The Streets Have No Name on her phone holding the phone at full arms length just up in the air pointing in roughly the direction of the band - if she took her heels off she'd be a midget! I was thinking to myself I bet you haven't seen much of this gig.

I used to love her when she was in Neighbours and when she had a short singing career. I am glad to hear that she is still pretty and also that it sounds like she is blowjob height for me. :datass:

Torn is a 90s classic. I know this because when I put a load of 90s classics on Spotify on Saturday it was one of the first songs I thought of. Natalie Imbruglia

Me too, had a proper crush on her - she used to go with Brad Willis Surfer Dood, his Dad in the show back then - Doug is Jason Donovan's Dad in real life.

I'm going with my folks to see Simply Red in December and Natalie is the support act, so that's worked out alright. I quite like Shiver and Wrong Impression.

It's supposed to be a heartfelt song but I used to get a funny feeling in my privates when she sang "lying naked on the floor". :datass:
