Perhaps it would be less tragic if we re-used the remains of the horse. I'm sure Synchronized steaks would fetch a good price on the open market.

If it helps qupe. I'd say this stuff to your face too. I'm not hiding behind a screen, this is the internet, we need screens to communicate.

We had someone who owns horses have two horses die this week at work. We still had a Grand National Sweepstake. Go figure.

I do.... you are. Twat.

So I dislike someone mocking a shotgun thing and I am miserable....because I simply suggested that I'd like to see something invented to save them being shot because they break a leg.

Anyway. I'll leave you children to enjoy your so called humour.

I do not have an issue with the racing, just wish there was a way they didn't have to be shot because they break a leg. I had money on 1st and 3rd in the National.

I had money at Cheltenham, horses died...it happens, I am sorry I don't like that side of it.

Its fine, but there is NO other solution - its not like you can put a horse in a wheelchair. Any animal with long limbs like that who breaks a leg is sadly unsustainable, the kindest thing to do IS to put it down, however awful that sounds.

Doesn't that suggest they shouldn't be doing something like steeplechase racing in the first place?

No I understand that. Just got me thinking if there was a brace or something that could be created.

I actually understand the jokes made, not saying I agree with them, just I suppose some things you react more sensitively too for some reason.

Exactly this. Horse racing needs to stop immediately, ridiculous "sport".

Oh, I see!

Now you've put that point across, I'll stop thinking about the animals who pointlessly died on Sunday (and every other day before that).

Because he cares about animal welfare? Or are you saying that about the rest of qupe's post history (which I'm not familiar with!)?

I would say that those who train horses love them too, and have their best interests at heart too. This is not a black and white situation like fox hunting or bullfighting.

Probably because I said FE was a sad sad individual...which was a bit stupid, unless the Xbox Indie Game recommended thread offends in some way. Anyway that was yesterday.

I care about horses, would love to see if there is something that can help going forward I am all for it.

Nothing is black and white.

I'm not saying the owners/jockeys don't love their horses, but your comment about "best interests at heart" is absolutely wrong. Someone who has someone/something's best interests at heart doesn't put them into a race were there is a possibility of death!

Fox hunting wasn't black and white.
