I expect it'll do fairly well, but nowhere near enough to justify the stupid money Amazon threw at it.
Someone mentioned to me that the reason for the name is because every episode will be in a different country, so even just the budget for getting all the cast/crew/equipment from place to place is going to be ridiculous before you even start shooting anything.

I just figured they wanted the words to start with 'G' and 'T', so the reverse of Top Gear, and just found two words that fit.

Well in the 19th century it was the name for what was basically rich pricks going on holiday, so it's accurate

A massive wanker, a tryhard with a tryhard goatee, and a comedic old bloke with long hair. Let's see just how good BBC's writers and producers are then

I can see some decent promotional material with a GT logo.

Actually looking forward to this. The TG format was getting old back when Clarkson burnt out that caravan and I can't even remember what series that was!

Amazon has slotted Friday, November 18 for the launch of new original series The Grand Tour, starring former Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. New episodes will be released every Friday for 12 weeks on Amazon Prime Video.

The show will feature short films shot in different locations around the globe and the studio audience portion of the showcase will also take place at a different location. The first episode will feature Jeremy, James and Richard in their first studio tent recording in California.

The trio have committed to three series of The Grand Tour as part of a global TV deal.

I'm properly looking forward to it, I like top gear as an entertainment show so this will no doubt the like that and awesome

I never watched for cars it was mates getting into mischief and there were some cars, it was a formula that worked with them and would work again

Well the first episode was alright. Enjoyed the bit with the celebrities. Will look forward to them getting out and about and not just on a race track.

This should have been on Netflix ffs.
