There'll basically be a few song setlist (last time around it was a five song setlist, but it might be shorter this time, due to the whole matching-up-DLC issue...) every week that you'll need to play through on your chosen instrument and get as good a score (percentage-wise) as you can.

Because some bands might be made up of people on different formats/people who don't have Live, you won't need to arrange it so you can all play at the same time, you just do the setlist whenever you've got time that week (of course, nothing's stopping you from arranging a time for you all to play together, if you fancy it). It'll only take about an hour a week, unless you fancy practising every song to get the best possible scores.

so do we take pictures and upload them here then?

If we dont need to match times to play together then colour me interested, although I like the idea of playing songs online, but sometimes you just get a busy week and you cant find time at all.

Well I await to see more details about how its going to be set up... might get a fellow guitarist/bassist interested as well

Yeah, if you've got a camera/phone, pictures would be good.

Shall I put you and your girlfriend down, then? She'd need to start posting on here, though :P

But yeah put us down

Oh Go on, then. I'll sign, despite only ever lurking here.

In order of preference

Bass: Expert (I even have the P-Bass controller for fingering action. Ooer.)
Guitar: Hard/Expert
Drums: Bought for 20 quid from HMV and only ever used once. So lets scratch that, shall we?

360 GT: Mentski if anyone wants to play together at some point.

Good to have you both on board 8-) Eighty, I think you're the first moderator to take part in the BotB's, so the reputation of the entire mod team is resting on your shoulders. Do them proud.

You might be the only person on here to actually own one of those. Crazy stuff. You're also the only person so far to prefer playing the bass to the geetar.

I actually prefer bass too :shifty:

I have to play my pro guitar like a bass :fp: at least until I get time to mess around with the pots inside, as half my strings don't register with softer/down strums. Have to proper ping them.

 Yeah, I've had a similar thing with my two high strings. Expert Pro Bass is so much easier than Pro Guitar 8-)

Mine are the middle two causing issues. The 4th doesn't seems to register at all. Luckily Easy mostly avoids that one 8-)

I've messed around with my list. I don't mind any of them if it's required to even out the teams though.

I'm on my second, actually. My first one was one of the wired ones, have a wireless now. Madcatz have significantly upped the build quality since becoming official distributor for all instruments, that's for certain. I got one of the players edition Telecasters at the same time I replaced the bass.

As you can possibly tell by the image, I have a predisposition towards bass. It's the noise I pick out first whenever I hear a song. I'm one for *those* weirdos.

Bought off MadCatz' own site, which as I'm sure you know are stupidly expensive, unless you find discount codes.

Sorry to get you all excited expecting this to be the Band Announcement post :shifty:

Basically, with E3 and me moving into this new room at my house, I haven't actually had time to properly arrange the bands, but rest assured, there'll be some news tomorrow. Just in case anyone was planning some kind of mutiny.

In the meantime, here's a picture of my cat:
