I'm surprised at all the votes for Bethesda as best developer when all three versions of Skyrim were released in a shockingly bad state and apparently the PS3 version is still completely broken.

In what universe would the launch versions of Skyrim (ignoring the PS3 version) would be described as "shockingly bad state"? It was the smoothest Bethesda launch to date were it not for the PS3 having insufficient RAM to run the game at the later stages.

The 360 version turned the game into a blurry mess when you installed it, there's no excuse for the broken PS3 game they released and still haven't fixed, and the PC game had a few issues at launch too but as usual the modding community were quick to fix them for Bethesda.

On top of all this one organisation gave them the 'Best Technology' award.

I mean, good grief. and :fp:

Bloody hell, who awarded them that? :fp:

It's amazing how much of a free pass they are getting from the gaming media, particularly the US side. Just goes to show the lack of credibility over there.

A blurry mess? Rubbish.

Besides, Skyrim is an incredible achievement by anyone's standards. Even non-gamers can surely see that it's a staggering piece of software, which has so much depth and detail despite its enormous scale.
