Its finally here - the final ever final of the GRCade Games Guru Competition.
Over the last ten years, many have competed of the title of Games Guru, a few have succeeded but many have failed. Those who made it to the top of the tournament have been etched into GRCade history, and tonight four more will fight out for the chance to be the final Games Guru ever, and be the epitaph to the greatest online gaming gameshow there has ever been.
Over the course of four rounds, our four finalists will face different challenges. Each of these challenges will be scored SEPERATELY, and there will be no carrying over of scores from one round to the next. At the end of each round, the player with the least number of points will be eliminated. In the case of Dan - well thanks to his efforts earlier in the contest, he has an EXTRA LIFE available, so if he finishes bottom of any task, he will get a second bite at the cherry.
The last man standing wins the title of GRCade Games Guru 2013. It really is as simple as that.
Please can I remind you all that this is not a particiaption event, please do not effect the proceedings by shouting out answers or interacting with contestants, this is the last time I will ever do this, so please do not ruin it for any of the contenders!
With all that said - please stand and applaud for the final finalists!

Hes the devil in disguise, and in only his second competition has reached the final - hes Scottish so anythings game! - DIABOLITO!!
The man with the plan, and with the extra life, please welcome our exceptional creative and rookie - DAN!!
The clown himself, a returning Guru, and in contention to be the only person to even regain the GGGC crown - PARKSEY!!
And finally, weighing in with four finals, and the defending champion, please welcome back to the Grand Final our defending Games Guru - DALAGONASH!!

Ah, yes, "I hate the Umbrella Corporation: The Diary of a Research Scientist (aged 33 1/4 years)". Sounds like me.
DML included my bloody personal comments of my piece at the bottom of it and included it in my entry!
Yeah, I will go through the thread itself later and read through the competition, but it was the writing (again) which cost me, I think, and I did alright on the Flash Game and Pointless round.
Hence, why I made a bit more of an effort to "go straight" with the writing this time.

I wasn't anywhere near this tense for my other final. I didn't expect to get that far and was much more carefree.

In each round, contestants will face a different classic game show, with all the questions twisted of course towards the reason we are all here - videogames.
In each round I will reveal the show, spell out the rules for that round and how points are scored. At the end of the round, the player with the lowest score in the round will lose their place in the competition, unless they have an extra life at their disposal. Once the lowest player has been removed/had their life removed, we will move onto the next gameshow and a new challenge with a new round of scoring. The last player standing wins the title of GRCade Games Guru 2013.
In the result of a tie, there will be a tie-breaker question to seperate the tie, the extra life cannot be used to seperate ties.
