Well that's. Well. I feel absolutely indebted to Dan for agreeing to redo the question, really. I was really starting to flounder and that's...

I'm not sure how I feel right about now, really.

Full of coffee.

Shame that the contest had to be decided like that. Both would have deserved to win, though would have liked to see the contest continue for a few more questions.

StayDead had as much an effect on who won as I did! And he wasn't in the final.

GG everyone.

GG DML.

Now for the prize, Dala. You get to pick from two options. Anyone guess what they are?

Yeah, share it. Specifically with the four finalists... or anyone who has been Guru before.

Honestly I feel like you were more than deserving of the title. Your creative rounds just blew me away this contest, some real stunning stuff. This victory will remain bittersweet for a long while and, in a way, I feel a little bad that that is how the final of the final will be remembered...

First of all - I have to say to DAN - thank you firstly for being an great sport, but also for being an unbelievable contender. You have been an absolute credit to GRCade and the competition, and you should hold your head very highly.

However, this final chapter belongs to DALAGONASH, who at times looked like he might not go there, but in you dude, we have a guy every bit as capable as Invincible, and I am delighted to see that you have retained the championship and become the last ever Games Guru!

Also, well done to Diabolito and Parksey on their deep runs in the contest!

Congratulations all!!

Resign as Guru! Say you googled your Starfox Rodeo piece, or you had sexual relations with DML and thus knew the contents of his game shelf for Relatively Speaking.

I wouldn't necessarily say Dan was more deserving per se. You started the final slowly Dala, and could have easily gone out in that first round, but you picked up as it progressed, especially in the missing vowels one.

Cheers for the praise! :) But you shouldn't feel bittersweet about your win. You were the more knowledgeable of the two of us and you came through every round strongly - you won fair and square. I'm just glad I was able to push you so far.

I honestly didn't know that Mario Bros. was on the Atari :o

A nice symmetry for you DML - GGGC starts and ends with a double-winning champion. Many, many thanks for putting all your efforts in to run this, it's been a lot of fun!

Japanese wife. Magnificent stuff
