I'm not complaining though because I'm actually quite sensitive to the cold myself.

I know it's a real thing and is genuinely horrible but that literally couldn't sound more like a made up disease.

It sounds like the kind of thing Bart Simpson would invent on the spot.

I honestly may as well tell people I have boneitis.

Wouldn't be such an outrageous claim. It has the fancy name of osteomyelitis, but is basically what you could also call "boneitis".

I just tell people that I have arthritis and they just go "but you're too young!" and think that's a helpful thing to say.

Sometimes people could be a little more understanding.

Still holding out here, but we've got grandparents coming to visit over the weekend who insist on living at approximately 44 degrees at all times so I think that might force my hand!

By forcing your hand, I hope you mean something like this:

No heating for me yet. If I lived alone it would probably stay off until January, but I expect the gf will switch it on in the next couple of days.

Yep I'm out as well! Was hoping to get at least into November but the weekend house guests demanded otherwise!

Kitten was happy about it though:

No heating on in the Frankenstein household. It's still mild.

I imagine it's easy to stay warm with all the lightning bolts being channelled directly into your body

Still on the warm side for me. I haven't used the fan in a few days though.

Please do not post this in the "No Context" thread

The juxtaposition of angles encourages a feeling of wonder and joy and invites the viewer to explore questions of belonging and kinship with their fellow man
