I'm out. Heating has gone on for an hour this morning.

Still no heating on here. Hot water bottle today mind.

Still in, but hanging on by a thread now as the wife is starting to drop hints that she'll be putting the heating on soon.

I might be out soon, I feel cold as hell but I'm holding on the best I can.

What is it with the weird obsession the British have with not turning the heating on?

Where I work in the office, there seems to be a weird competition every year on who can keep their heating off for longest

I need to go to expert adjudicators for this one:

I am in St. Andrews for a week, in an Airbnb. This is a very chilly flat and far more northern than my place in London.

The heating has had to go on here, but this isn't my actual home, where the heating is still off.

Does this count as me being out?

Mine went on last night. I finally succumbed to Autumn.

Today has been a rather nice day though, and it's apparently 15 on Tuesday, which is pretty warm again for this time of year.

We aren't that far away from energy-shaming people as a Society I reckon.

The heating in my house is still firmly in the off position.
That won't last long though as my Mum is coming home from the hospital soon so she'll turn it on.
