The next group as I see it. It's definitely getting hard to single characters out now, they're mostly pretty good!

To disclaim a few of the controversial choices - I love Shawshank, but I feel like it's a film where the interactions between the characters are bigger than the characters themselves, so I'd be happy to see them go in the near future. Bond's got to go shortly IMO - racist, sexist, dodgy fella.

Blade's a mummy strawberry floater who's been trying to ice skate uphill for too long,but he is cool as strawberry float and the 1998 Blade film is genuinely brilliant. Getting rid of him and Dredd will eliminate the comic book element of the list.

I don't know why either tbf, but I will give my reasons for each:

HAL - I wasn't a massive fan of 2001. I know, controversial. It's fine, and HAL is great, but I just didn't connect with the film.
Drebin - I am loathe to get rid of him, I love Naked Gun, but is he one of the all-time greatest cinema characters?
