Lemon Jelly and Chemical Bros for me. Star Guitar is something special, the way the objects match up to the progressive introduction of beats and bleeps is astounding.

Over the Distance and Strawberry Fields for me.
The first because it's a rare day that I don't listen to this at least once and the second because it's The Beatles - no further justification is required.

Ok.

The fact that Star Guitar could even possibly go out of this group is ridiculous. If it goes, I'll be proper angry like and probably swear a lot!

Musical landscaping - literally. Its brilliant. Gets my vote anyhow.

After that its a bit more difficult. Don;t like that Radiohead video at all, both the other two in the contest whip that one, and November Rain...well, its November Rain - the most pretentious self masturbating shite of all time.

So, that leaves three from five.

Lemon Jelly, I've always loved that song, and despite the weak start to that vid, the end had me smiling from ear to ear, and it obviously suits the song. Its well animated as well, and backing animated vidoes as I am, it has to go through!

Also going through is Architecture of Helsinki. Everyone these animators do turns to gold, its seriously amazing, and this is no exception. Great video that waaay outclasses the song. Gotta go through.

Didn't really feel the LCD Soundsystem video, its one of those things where you feel like you've seen it done somewhere before and better, but can;t quite work out where. Either way, not for me.

So, Over the Distance vs Strawberry Fields forever, and as much as I like the Ouendan song, its hardly a classic video. SFF is not the best Beatles video, but it goes through practically by default. If it gets to Round Two, it'll have a much tougher time of it.

If star guitar goes out this round I'll be somewhat annoyed.
