Update: Job is still a job, I went out for a drink last friday with a bird from work. Im not interested but at least I still got it 8-)

Still not fit, But I dont have the time atm. Definately making an effort to be more social.

Going pretty well so far.

I don't get the I don't have time thing I always think it's just an excuse. (I've used it myself when I've been really busy with work combined with uni) but I realise that I can always make the time.

I've got a drummer, and we're close to gigs with my other band. That's pretty much all I have to report. Everything else is a non-starter until later in the year, or I just haven't done yet.

I could squeeze in some fitness, But I think it'd kill me.

Im up at 6am and most days Im not back home till 6ish. I have a brew, eat me dinner and crash. I might start running again, a few miles each weekend or something.

I'm doing well with my finances. I've paid all bills, and rent and all expenses for the month. I' still have more than enough to live off, and apart from 3 things that are under a fiver each, I don't feel the need to buy anything. Haven't started saving yet though. I should be in much better financial shape by summer when my overdraft is fully paid off and hopefully my overtime will be properly organised so I can put some away then. I'll arrange an appointment to open an account with the bank when I get my shifts in tomorrow. Regarding the fitness, I've moved my trainers from my locker at work, to my wardrobe. I'd go for a run now, but I'm not convinced it's safe out now. Apart from that, nothing. :(

- Get fit again -- Cut down on most shitty food. Still get severely drunk at the weekends though
- Form a band and play some gigs -- Made some positive steps towards having some jams with various folk
- Pass university -- Failed an exam and hate my course

Chocolate Jim wrote:1. Gain a Stone - Epic failure. Didn't manage to do this. Believe it or not running a chocolate website means you watch the rest of your diet a lot more. Apart from the occasional chocolate bar I still can't bring myself to eat most foods that would be classified as junk. Poor attempt. FAIL

Do that. Add 500-800. Watch your diet so that you eat that many calories. No need to eat junk. Plenty of complex carbs, protein and fats.

Update:

- Get a job

Well. If everything goes to plan, by the end of the month I'll be doing some freelance work, probably won't bring in that much dough initially, but it's a start. Still haven't got anything down for my placement year yet, though :(

- Start a band

Brought a new guitar. Told the guitarist from my old band to get himself the chuff round my house, so we should be getting some jamming on the way soon.

- Say "yes" to more things

Went to my friends house party, and I'm going down the pub with a few old friends in a few days to celebrate one of their birthdays.

- Learn how to cook

Haven't done much on this one recently, been too busy with other things :fp: I'll get back on it soon, though. I need to learn how to cook a runny egg.

- Learn how to code with C Sharp

This is also quite slow going, but I wasn't expecting it to be terribly easy.

Get back into weights: Nope still haven't touched them although I did print off a new set of exercises last night so will try to start on Monday.

Learn to cook: This was going ok but recently I've not learned any new recipes so I will have to get back into this as well.

I'm not going to be updating the thread anymore, seeing as probably not even half of those that signed up have made more than 1 or 2 posts in here since signing up.

Thanks to those that posted their updates; it's been fun reading.
