With the total collapse of civilisation just around the corner I thought we should build a space ark to save 2 humans each but who will you choose to stick on a generation ship destined for another solar system?

I'm going for Paul Hollywood and Nadiya Hussain from Bake Off as what's the point of like without cake?
I did for a moment consider saving a couple of the Master chocolateers from Lindor but while they are terrific I think Paul and Nadiya can whip up some passable chocolates.

So which crucial humans would you save?

Due to a popular uprising the rule is now you can save yourself and 2 people.

I'm obviously saving myself, so now I can't envisage this question in any other way than "Which celebrity would you like to be fired into deep space with on a sex rocket?"

As for who I'd send, we need someone proficient in medical practice, so getting a nurse on board is priority number one. They are very experienced though and like Data from Star Trek know all the moves and are fully operational so good choice.

I don't think I've explained this very well.
The ship is filled with all our choices so the Bake Off team are currently going with Moggy and a couple of old porn stars and whoever else gets nominated.

This was a lot simpler in my head .

Sir Patrick Stewart (best captain ever, he can command the ship), and Kate Mulgrew (one of the worst captains, she can sit in the brig for her crimes).
