Hells Yeah: Konami are doing a conversion of the 12-years-old-yet-still-awesome GTi Club Rally!

Back in 1996 me and my mate Tom used to Cane this whenever we got the chance. For those of you too young to remember it was a single-track arcade game (as they all were back then) only with mini's and a track set in an italian town with loads of big hills! Its one innovation/capitalistic feature was that if you put £2 in you unlocked the ferrari which Tom (having loads of cash) used to use all the time.

Its coming to the PSN with 8-player online and (I assume) more tracks. Still, its nice to see a publisher updating a really obscure classic for once.

It's not Virtual On and it's not X-Men.

Therefore the thread topic is a lie.

Used to love it, back in the day. Bit sceptical about how it'd work in the home though, best thing about the game was the sit down cab with handbrake.

Anyway, why hasn't Daytona come yet? Daytona over live would be the best thing ever.

Yeah, I can only presume that the only reason this hasn't happened yet is because Sega hates us.

They'd rather carry on strawberry floating up Sonic.

It's the easiest open goal in the history of open goals. They're bloody idiots not to do it.

Sega are idiots period. Arcade wise, in the mid 90's, they were untouchable. All they need do, is transfer all those classics on Live. They'd clean up. Who wouldn't pay 800 points for perfect versions of Daytona, Scud Race, Sega Rally, et al?

Definitely - this would be the most obvious purchase I would ever see on Xbox Marketplace, and would give me closure for the non-online version of Daytona I had to suffer on the Dreamcast all those years ago...
