End of Day Three

The end of the third day of parliament in many ways feels like the end of the first. With no Speaker, it is the captain of the Royal Guard who commands the full attention of the chamber.

"Captain Kinopio, your peers have elected you to the position of Speaker. You will be escorted to the Duke's palace for the night."

A guard gestures for Kinopio to walk with him, leading him from the building. The captain continues.

"Now for our other business."

The captain picks his way through the gathered members, looking from face-to-face, searching as per his orders. He stops before Vermilion, briefly, before continuing on to Kezzer. He raises his pistol.

"Step aside."

Kezzer hesitates for a moment, then does as instructed, placing the captain squarely before aayl1. Another guard has moved silently behind the crowd and now seizes the surprised ayyl from behind.

Before he can object aayl is marched from the chamber and out onto parliament square towards the looming scaffolding, parliament watching in surprise from afar. A drum beats, and it is aayl who is the latest member to be lynched.

A search is carried out of aayl' personal effects, but nothing of note is found. It seems aayl1 was a regular Member of Parliament.

Night Three

26 members remain

Players should submit any night actions before 9am.

Kinda wished I had voted for kezzer now to free him of this obsession :dread:
