Listened to that a few more times over the last few days. Really liking it, as well as his other stuff. Sometimes you forget the sheer volume of stuff done independently by talented young guys. Also, turns out The Game has used that hook before.

Anyone remember that thread on old GR simply called 'Black Music'? Good times. Hip Hop is far and away my favourite genre of music, and I've never given any credence to anyone who says they don't like it. How can you dislike a genre so diverse?

I saw Gonjasufi the other night, I managed to get up at the front, and there was this middle-aged man doing his "polite" fun club dancing He was dressed like he just walked out from his job at the bank. He was smiling like a loon, I liked it.

Sounds like the same old gooseberry fool to me, really. Unmemorable beat, unoriginal lyrics, seriously no one wants to hear how much "swag" you have, and no one really think you're the best rapper ever. There's decent stuff out there, but it's getting scarce.

I love OutKast. It's a shame the vast majority of people that love their mainstream hits like Hey Ya (quite comfortably their worst song by far) don't realise that pretty much all of their other stuff, particularly the older albums, are a lot better.

trip down memory lane. I remember owning this album ATLien....my god what a strawberry floating album it was.

Seriously I still recommend it to anyone. Outkast was just insanely amazing back then.

Assume you're on about Hopsin? If so, he's probably one of my favourite rappers at the moment. Heard enough about how he was strawberry floated over by Ruthless, though.
