I’ve listened to Call Me if You Get Lost right the way through twice now and that is one hell of an album.

Yeah same man, it was great
I was (pleasantly) surprised by the amount of features in it; the wayne section on that one song was cool

The only thing about it I'm not wild about is the sheer amount of DJ Drama. He's all over the thing. That's nothing against him specifically, I'm just really not a fan of hype men being injected into tracks. Like, I'm already listening to the record, I don't need any more convincing.

WILSHIRE also made me think I was listening to a podcast  (still loved it)

Gonna second WILSHIRE being quality.

In terms of DJ Drama, I suppose it's that Tyler wanted a Gangsta Grillz tape and then somehow made it happen. I think nostalgia is a common theme here and DJ Drama plays into that, but the nostalgia is used to show Tyler's stylistic evolution and so DJ Drama is then turned instead into more of a narrator that almost provides a narrative throughline linking everything together.

Honestly I could probably have a little bit less of him on the album, but that's the style Tyler was aiming for and reminds me of the Dedication tapes and some other gooseberry fool in a good way.

Dave's new album is predictably excellent. A couple of tracks I don't love (Both Sides of a Smile will likely be skipped from now on) but overall great. In the Fire, Three Rivers and Heart Attack all standout.

Album of the year for me, probably until Sometimes I Might Be Introvert comes out.

i really dont care, artists have about 1 bad project to lose me, and then they need 2 or 3 amazing ones to make me care about them any more

is it worth listening to?

Better than JiK, maybe a little better than Ye, worse than the rest is how I'd rank it in Kanye albums. Seems ok, need to give it a few more listens. Could definitely do with being chopped down in length.

Donda is good but way too long. Like Rocsteady says it could do with losing around 40mins I'd say.

I've never been a huge Drake fan but the new album is decent.
