I think the writers watch the American version of The Office because the whole can thing was done by Dwight. Good episode, the shoes were silly but that reminds me, I saw the actor who plays Simon in London the other day, funnily enough, he was walking up Charing Cross Road, towards the Astoria!

Brilliant episode again. I think the first half was the most I've laughed at anything in an absolute age. Full on breathless, shreeking laughter with tears. Absolutely hilarious stuff. In the club was very well done I thought, with the awkwardly doing nothing. Poor Simon though. Carly is such a banana split!

"Bus Wankers!" got a laugh. Especially the first one.

I thought the second one was a million times funnier due to the resulting incident. That happened to me once. We were in a car,and my mate shouted out banana splits to these rude boys, and we drove off and the lights came on. It was far too familiar and as hilarious as real life.

I really do like the fact that pretty much all of the leads are utter gooseberry fools. Makes it all the funnier and far more believable.

It's been a long time since I genuinely laughed for the majority of a program I am watching.

This is nothing short of genius.

"We usually go to the Astoria"

You mean the same one that was knocked down a couple of months back :(

I only started watching this yesterday. I series linked the series but only gave it a look yesterday and it's awesome. I feel stupid for not watching the first series, i really need to give that a look too. I assume E4 won't show it again for a while though.

All of the first season is in the archive section on 4OD.

Agreed.

Though it's not in the same league as one of my all-time favourite insults, from Curb...: "strawberry float you, you car wash banana split".

Watched the entire first series of this for the first time last night and this evening: awesome, how had I not bothered with it before? I haven't enjoyed a comedy show this much since the two awesome series of I'm Alan Partridge.

Because it's had hardly any promotion, and has been buried on E4, while hours of dross fill the mainstream channels. It should be criminal, or something.
