An ant mill is an observed phenomenon in which a group of army ants, which are blind, are separated from the main foraging party, lose the pheromone track and begin to follow one another, forming a continuously rotating circle. The ants will eventually die of exhaustion. An ant mill was first described by William Beebe in 1921 who observed a mill 1,200 feet in circumference. It took each ant 2.5 hours to make one revolution.

Dang it, Tom, this is the one "interesting" fact that I know and now I can't use it .

But, hey I could expand upon it! "52!" is 52 "shreek"; meaning the number of card combinations is 52x51x50x49x48... .... ... ... x3x2x1.

So, the actual number is 80,658,175,170,943,878,571,660,636,856,403,766,975,289,505,440,863,277,824,000,000,000,000.

If every star in our galaxy had a trillion planets, each having a trillion people living on them, each person having a trillion packs of cards, and each pack was shuffled a thousand times per second since the Big Bang, then only just now would pack shuffle orders start to be replicated.

So, uhm, yeah.

In 1518, in what is now modern day France, there was an unexplained 'outbreak' of dancing.

The outbreak began in July 1518 when a woman, Mrs. Troffea, began to dance fervently in a street in Strasbourg.[1] This lasted somewhere between four and six days. Within a week, 34 others had joined, and within a month, there were around 400 dancers, predominantly female. Some of these people would die from heart attacks, strokes, or exhaustion.[1] One report indicates that, for a period, the plague killed around fifteen people per day.[2] However, the sources of the city of Strasbourg at the time of the events did not mention the number of deaths, or even if there were fatalities.[3]

Historical documents, including "physician notes, cathedral sermons, local and regional chronicles, and even notes issued by the Strasbourg city council" are clear that the victims danced.[1] It is not known why these people danced, some even to their deaths.
