Can't stop watching Ranma 1/2, it's one of the most ridiculous animes I've seen but its also utterly hilarious.

The last few episodes of S1 have been brilliant, mainly down to the introduction of Shampoo and all the chaos that ensues

Ramna (xx) is still best girl

Just read the bit with the sumo  Yeah. I like to take my time/read slow as strawberry float.

Let's never tell anyone about last night. Last night when we all did "sumo".

I actually kind of want to watch that anime now.

Apparently this is getting a reboot/remake this year.

Sorry if I've recommended this before, but if you want to watch something different: Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san.

It's on Crunchy.

I could be tempted, what's it about? Apart from a bookseller, natch.

Where the hell is the latest chapter of One Piece?! It should have been out on the high seas by Friday morning.

It's a comedy about the real life experiences of a former Japanese bookstore employee. It's usually about the behaviour of customers, publishers and how employees handle them and the stress of it. Each ep is split in two, there's surface level continuation and the show lasts about 15 mins.

Sounds brutal! But potentially interesting. Might give it a skim.

It's a really fun anime to watch between binges of your "main anime", as it were.

Slightly embarassed by this but I've found myself watching the most unlike my usual tastes anime, initially for the frankly absurd plot synopsis but somehow carried on watching it for 'reasons' beyond my understanding.

That anime being:

Kashimashi: Girl meets Girl

Aliens visit earth to 'observe' humans and accidentally kill a teenage boy after crashing their spaceship, they ressurect him but something goes awry and he becomes physically and biilogocally female, she then resumes 'normal' life and gets caught in a (wholesome) lesbian love triangle with two close female childhood friends, the aliens stick around for a while and cause mayhem for the MC while she gets accustomed to being a girl

I blame Karl and Qikz.

Chainsaw Man will hopefully snap me out of this downward spiral.

You can't blame me, I've never even seen Kashimashi!

...It does sound cute though. Thanks for the rec. :P

Yeah, its definitely 'cute', nothing particularly graphic happens (yet) aside from one character being completely inappropriate towards the MC.

Was going to ditch it after the first couple of episodes but ended up watching 8 of the 12 episodes in two days.

I'm fairly open minded though so even though I can't really relate to some of the themes involved I can empathize with the characters on a 'life is hard at times' level (well as much as a straight, ever single 40 year old disabled white man can).
