Same. I have gripes about a lot of them :slol: but overall I've loved everything I've read. I mean if I hadn't, then I wouldn't have asked for this for my birthday...

Got this Luffy for Christmas, watches over me as I work. I'm surprised how much I've fallen back into One Piece thanks to lockdown last year. I have a few issues post time skip, such as caricature Straw Hats, fanservice, and never really being all that into haki, but I still enjoy the story a great deal.

When I moved flats recently I also found a bunch of One Piece figures from various years. The Luffy and Zoro ones are pretty crusty, a friend found them in a market whilst on holiday back in 2007.

Love that Luffytaro model!

Zavvi sell a fair few Wano figures at reasonable prices, quality is solid for the price too!

Bet it's nice piecing together the colour pages inside for those two chapters. I've always wanted the Colour Walk art books, but got to be picky on how I fill the shelf these days.

The author can even make you give a damn about some of the demons who get killed despite doing terrible things after being turned. The next arc for you is easily my favourite in the series.

The one in the entertainment district? It had me sweating!

Yeah. Daki and Gyutaro complimented eachother so well and pushed our heroes to the absolute limit for what felt like half of the chapters. It's going to be great seeing the demon designs and abilities animated.

It's funny how fast Tengen grew on me. Hated him at first but his overly flamboyant nature and ability to not die despite tanking so much damage chapter-after-chapter won me over.

I've got the urge to reread the arc now.

Is anyone having trouble with Crunchyroll's premium memberships?

I resubbed through the mobile app, and it plays fine through the app, but literally nowhere else will recognise my premium sub. Not the PS4 app, the Xbox app, not even the actual website! £6.50 a month for this gooseberry fool, it's no wonder they're dying on their arse. :dread:

Cheapest plan = you can only watch on one device at a time. Maybe that also means you can only watch on the device you initially signed up to? Just guessing though.

Anyway, I signed up to trial 2nd option premium plan and I was able to watch on console and PC, at the same time, too.

Absolutely loving the vocals and accompanying music on Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

Just started watching Demon Slayer on Netflix (subbed, obviously).

This seems like my kind of anime.

Is this because you're hard of hearing, or because you just prefer original voice work? Some English VA can be really good. (Like Haikyu!!)

I much prefer to watch anime (and foreign language stuff in general) subbed as I feel it retains the original and intended 'feel' of the voice acting. One notable exception being Roruni Kenshin which I immediately switched to the English dub as I couldn't cope with Kenshin sounding like a 12 year old girl.

As for my hearing, it's basically the only part of my body that still functions properly.

Up to episode 10 of Demon Slayer already, its just so good.

Really liking the animation too, its all really well animated, the hokusai-esque water effects on Tanjiro's sword attacks are especially brilliant.

Fair dos. I use subs and dubs as a great excuse to watch things over, as swapping one for other helps to freshen it up a bit on the repeat viewings.

Judging by the author, that was probably intentional. :shifty:

The main female character who he (Kenshin) may or may not fancy (I didn't watch all of it) is at least half (maybe even a third judging by a few things) his age too.

This is exactly why anime gets such stick from certain people.

I'm glad Ufotable have found a new franchise to pour money and production into since they moved on from Fate. You can really see how both the technology and talent has progressed since then in Demon Slayer; some of the visuals they produce are stunning, and the digital gooseberry fool is never out of place or distracting.

I haven't even really noticed a lot of the CG stuff going on, everything is just so well done.

Just seen the episode with The drum demon that rotates the room and even then the 3D effects don't get too distracting.

Very impressed with this show so far.
