Someone I follow on Twitter wants manga recommendations. However, no kids and no college students. I've recommended Spy x Family, Sakamoto Days and Way of the House Husband. (Someone else got in with OPM ) Can anyone think of anything else?

+1 for PunPun. No manga I've read before or since has come close to the feeling of being punched square in the gut that PunPun gave me.

Solanin by the same artist is also brilliant, and felt all too relatable to my own mid-20s experience.

Black Clover would be so much better if Asta would just stop shouting all the strawberry floating time.

He's worse than Bakugo from MHA.

Two lots of Davy Back?! strawberry float off. Thankfully Aokiji finally showed up, and they just mentioned Yokozuna! Water 7 here we come!! :toot: :toot: :toot:

The memory loss filler was really well done, as well as how they used the fort filler to further help build on what will happen at Water 7. Shame about Davy Back, though :dread:

I skipped them both completely. I mean, the 2nd one may have been better than the first, what with it not having to follow what happened in the manga, I guess. But I just don't like that Fox guy or his powers. Seeing their Luffy drawn sail a couple of times got a laugh out of me, though, so that was something positive.

Black Clover just became a lot more interesting.

Ep19
Asta and Yuno both getting new spells/skills added to their grimoirs was great .

I've a feeling that Nero (the bird) may not be all it seems, definitely up to something.

One Piece Water 7 arc: The sooner I get through the tough to watch episodes the sooner Sniper King will appear, and the sooner the rift will be mended. But man, even watching the money get stolen and the crew learning about Merry's keel was tough as strawberry float to sit through :( :( :( But it's great seeing Water 7 and the Galley-La crew depicted in the anime.

One Piece anime - Water 7: Seeing Usopp get beaten up and then feel guilty, ashamed and weak was tough enough, as was hearing the heated exchange when he finally learned of Merry's fate, but seeing them fight in 236 is just heartbreaking

Really disappointed in the normally gobby crew leaving all the talking to Luffy. They didn't even try to make Usopp understand the situation! Poor writing, that.

Berserk releasing what they had before Miura passed. I assume we'll also get an answer to their plans going forward.

It can't be an easy decision to make. I'd be fine with an epilogue after this chapter saying "Look, things happened and we can't continue. So here's how Miura told us it was going to play out" in a GRRM way. But if his assistants think they can take a fair swing at continuing it, who am I to shoot them down?

At least we were "lucky" that this tragedy happened where it did in the story to give them options. With a little tweaking you could pretty easily just end it here and nobody would bat an eye.

It will be interesting to see what they do with Berserk.

I'd be happy for it to continue if the assistants at Studio Gaga knew what Miura had planned as they had a good run of replicating his artstyle with Duranki. If it does end now well at least we have Casca back and Guts has a little slice of happiness with his new family. Part of me hopes we get a single glorious panel of Guts eviscerating Griffith though.

iirc muira at some point said he had trained his team to continue it in the case of him passing away, so presumably the general narrative is there

For my part though I'd be fine with whatever their decision is

Really enjoying Black Clover (currently 37 episodes in), although I do find the lengthy intro sequence and insane amount of recap slightly irritating, there's usually only around 15 minutes of new content per episode.

Also, am I right in thinking the voice actor who voices Yami also voices Aizawa in MHA?
