I’ve read all of Berserk now, AMA

Literally just started the latest chapter of Dandadan and, I know you will all be totally shocked by this, I'm already laughing.

Aliens pissed off at Nessie and asking it why it didn't keep to the plan of attack.

Nessie getting a pay cut.

Alien getting cut in half by Nessie squirt attack.

It's strawberry floating amazing. I watched the newer version ages ago and loved it to bits.

One Piece Thriller Bark / Samurai nemesis: Brook relying on Zoro to beat the samurai... feels like they jobbed him on his debut arc.

Where abouts in the anime are you? I've only played the game, but I got fully into it once the weird invention activates while they're in the office. (As opposed to when they're out and about and everyone vanishes for a moment or whatever it is.)

I've hit the lab. My problem is that I don't like the characters. The airhead is annoying, the fat geek is gross and pervy, the redhead is so far a bargain-basement tsundere (not quite as bargain-basement as Noelle in Black Clover but getting there), and the MC... is alright actually, but can't carry it on his own.

Thriller Bark arc almost over. I think once this arc is over, because JoJo deserves better, but also because I don't want to rush through One Piece for a 2nd time , I will try to re-start where I left off with JoJo.

My suggestion is to see how you feel once the outright and in your face science fiction and international/dimensional conspiracy stuff kicks off.

Okay, cheers. A friend said pretty much the same thing, so I'll persevere for now.

Watched Evangelion Thrice Upon A Time (having watched the first 3 in the same week). Great opening fight, absorbing rural sections (which looked gorgeous) then an out-of-nowhere final battle that relied too much on CG and with a barrage of gibberish new names and words and lore at every turn, so that all the 'twists' and drama had no stakes as they were built upon barely-built foundations. Then the ending-proper was pretty good. And the Asuka's Eye scene was awesome.

Overall 2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>1>>3=4 probably.

2.22 is a stunner but I felt a little worse about the whole series after an annoying finale film. Over it now though!

Also watched Erased - 3/5. Started off really good, then became an action-thriller mess, then ended okay. The butterfly mechanic was discarded after one episode and the Ocarina of Time mechanic had no real rhyme nor reason to it. You could almost have done the whole show straight without any gimmickry, until the final time-shift 'arc' which was pretty fun.

Trying to watch Demon Slayer now but the score is very melodramatic and the tone is very earnest...

Struggling with Demon Slayer for much the same reason. You have to wait until maybe episode eight or something something the first joke. It lasts all of five seconds and then someone's murdered.
