Demon Slayer is front-loaded with a ton of po-faced expository episodes, but it starts to pick up once Zenitsu comes into the fold, and gets really quite funny once Inosuke joins them shortly after.

Obviously your mileage may vary with how dry the tone it is up to that point, but I really would recommend persevering.

Rumblar Pirates and Humming Brook backstory broke me. So another filler ep with strawberry floating Silver Fox is COMPLETELY out of the question. Time for Diamond is Unbreakable!! Aaaaaand it's already freaking me out what with the ghost dog and its slit throat :dread: :dread: :dread:

Man, you stopped JoJo right at the Part IV turning point. Great run of episodes to come.

Demon Slayer has just the right mix of action and comedy for me.

It's much better now that the antagonist has shown up properly. Props to the writer for trying something different with the format style compared to previous series, though.

One Piece 1026:

Luffy geeing Momo up by getting him to bite Kaido

strawberry float Yamato joining the crew. I want Big Mom instead. Her yucking it up at Luffy's antics would be great.

Love the extra mile the TCB Scans go to. (Imparting extra info to help get over the meaning of something, and select coloured pages!)

JoJo got dark so I went back to One Piece anime to lighten my mood. What's a good comedy worth watching on Crunchyroll?

It's not just one thing, ever since the murderer showed up it's turned dark and foreboding. What made it too much today was the ghost father escaping with the arrow. (What didn't help: Asda being late with the shopping and making me even more stressed as I watched JoJo.) Also, I wish the kids in this would quit being so gullible, and listen to the strawberry floating grown-ups

One Piece Stampede fan service cheered me up. Not the pervy sort! I just mean seeing so many of the big hitters fighting or teaming up. It's v cool to see.

Jujutsu Kaisen 139: I deleted a post where I bitched about how difficult it was to parse anything in this manga. (Art, plot, characters.) I still don't know exactly wtf happened, but I like this change of direction.

Well that's season 5 of My Hero Academia over and thanks to the glacial pacing of the first half and a movie tie-in episode it was a lot messier than it should have been. Very lucky the My Villain Academia arc saved the second half even if there were some unecessary content cuts thanks to having to cram it all into so few episodes.

So is the Mugen Train arc a retelling of the film, a la the Battle of Gods arc in Super?

I'd like to know why Ed isn't in it.
