The excellent Oshi no Ko has finally been added to MangaPlus. Only a matter of time until we get an anime adaptation too.

Ending of the new Shaman King was so good. That's probably one of the best endings from a shounen I've ever seen. <3

Thank you for the reminder, you sack of gooseberry fool.

I know he's a little bastard, but seeing the depiction of the little boy doing the dance? Gets me *right here*. I'm glad they're not exorcising him.

https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/ucih20/why_you_should_watch_one_pace_over_the_anime/

Great example of why One Piece needs to be redone from episode 1 (pacing is less of an issue in the first 200+ episodes but they are 4:3 SD) in 4K with the kind of pacing that makes it watchable (so roughly 2 to 3 chapters per episode).

I knew it was coming but I still laughed at Brook's "negotiation" with Big Mom turning out to be him just yelling at her to see her panties.

The single greatest moment in One Piece. I was thinking just before they showed it whether or not they would include it in the recap. It's a testament to its greatness that of all the select moments they showed from the arc, that single frame was deemed worthy of being shown again. Law's face is just *perfect*. It perfectly sums up both the situation in the moment and the bigger picture re the alliance. I love it!

I've been watching the second season of Lupin the Third and in episode 17 or 18 they had an entire episode which was just a huge Pink Panther reference. It was incredible and I was smiling throughout. This series is so damned good. I love it so much.

Finally made it to Wano Kuni arc. It's beautiful  Already seen about 5 episodes today. Cannot get enough of it. I just wish they used more of the stills style of art and inks as used in a few scenes in the episode before Wano Kuni officially started.

"Completed" Berserk :(

At its best there isn't a better depiction of medieval infantry / fantasy action, nor of otherworldly horror. There's just something about it that tells you this is really very special indeed.

For me personally, knowing where the story was leading (I'd long ago watched and loved the Golden Age movies) gave the Band of the Hawk section of the manga a sensation of a slow but unavoidable descent; like knowing you're in a dream that's about to take a horrific turn but you can't do anything about it. (Not that you would you turn away if you could because it's all so compelling!) I've never had a feeling like it before.

Although the story is at its best when Guts, though loved, feels he is apart from everyone, it did the heart good seeing him rely and be happy around people again.

Thank you Kentaro Miura and Studio Gaga.

Any news on what Miura's team been up to since his passing? I mean in general. Doesn't have to be connected to Berserk...

I'm just glad we got to see Casca return and Guts to have a moment of relative peace with his new family.

The team had been working on Duranki under the supervision of Miura but with his passing the publisher decided against continuing. Some of the team had made posts on social media about the publisher, editor and team being undecided about having Berserk continue without Miura but that was months ago now and I don't think there have been any updates since.

Tomorrow is the first anniversary of his death. :(
