strawberry float man you're ahead of me now. I haven't read for months :(

That's good! You'll have a lovely backlog to steamroller through in minutes when you do get the time to read

I'm not sure what to do, to be honest. Carry on reading until I'm all caught up and let a backlog build up, or stop somewhere in the 900s, read something else while OP backlog increases. Fully catching up and reading one chapter a week is NOT an option. One chapter a week is just... my god, I'd go nuts waiting to see what happens next!

I just finished Thriller Bark, how far ahead of me are you?

Quite a lot has happened since then, but not massively so. Thriller Bark is 442-489, right? I'm currently on 528.

Even worse when it's a Friday morning and you wake up to read the latest chapter only to find out there isn't one this week. :x

I've been reading weekly since 2008. Not reading the latest chapter as soon as I can isn't an option for me!

It's far easier on my patience then reading Berserk manga or Hunter X Hunter. Absolute torture getting a handful of chapters a year!

What?! They do that?! I thought chapters for One Piece came out like clockwork?

Can't you get a Viz/Shonen Jump online sub where you are? I hope they add HxH on there soon...

I watched Erased on Netflix the other day. Really enjoyed it, so much so I was up until 5am watching it.

Ooh, I loved Erased! What did you think about the culprit? I thought the reveal was a bit dumb, but it didn't really affect my enjoyment on the whole.

It's not 52 weekly issues per year since Oda (Goda :datass:) does take some weeks off throughout the year. Usually it's about 46-ish chapters per year.

I'm in the UK but the latest issues come available on Friday mornings our time whilst the legal free to read version tends to come out Sunday afternoon and I generally prefer the translation on the high seas version (although I'll usually read both).

Once you're up to date on manga, those subscription websites are less useful since they provide free access to the latest 3 chapters.

I'll just read something else while I wait for OP back log to build up. That's the plan anyway. Flip knows how long I'll be able to hold out for.

Goda deserves all the time off he wants as far as I'm concerned. I mean, he managed to make a chair funny!

One Piece 533 spoiler:
I made this for someone not used to manga, hence the arrows.

Says a lot about the writing and art that he appears so little and yet you totally buy into the legend.

One Piece Marineford/Paramount War Arc: How did everyone else feel about the Supreme King revelation? I don't think I like it because I am now finding it hard to see where Luffy ends and the haki thing begins. I mean... did he just want to be King of the Pirates because it's in his blood to sit atop a tree? (As it were.) I guess being a Supreme King doesn't mean you'll be a good person. So his general positivity and just nature are who he is regardless of what he's inherited?

Poor Koby :o Ouch.

God that's an awful translated name they opted for. Paramount War. PFFT!

EDIT: 574: :(

But can't even dwell on that too long because Teech and his Level 6 crew just hit the scene!! FFFFUUUUU!

EDIT 2: The worst era :dread:

EDIT 3: Koby  SHANKS! :toot: Seeing Kizaru startled and afraid to move because of someone

I've never really had much exposure to Sailor Moon, despite how massive an IP it is, so I thought I'd give the first volume of the manga a bash.

I can only assume it was the anime that made it popular, because that was a strawberry floating dreadful read. :dread:

I look forward to Laga's reply.
