Burn the Witch movie is up on Crunchyroll and was adapted pretty well, just a shame it didn't cover the events of the one shot.

That the Sabo reveal? I suppose some of the foreshadowing would be easier to miss when reading large batches of chapters and not partaking in weekly chapter discussion.

I remember some fans were going a bit overboard with theories and hype when we first saw the cup on Ace's grave hundreds of chapters before this... totally wasn't doing the same, honest. :shifty:

This almost lead me down the hole of looking up One Piece figures/statues :slol: I say almost, I stopped myself after about 3 minutes of ogling them on Amazon.

(Aye, that reveal.)

Sony have acquired Crunchyroll. Wonder if they'll just merge that and Funimation.

Just finished watching the TV Series of Evangelion (End of to watch next) and all I can say is what the strawberry float was that ending

Also been watching Cowboy Bebop for the first time on JP Netflix with a VPN, how the hell didn't I watch this before it's basically everything I like packaged into one show

Also got recommended this

The two endings to evangelion, the more I think im coming close to understand what the point of the entire series was the further away I get from actually understanding anything at all.

I assume the TV series is where instrumentality is achieved and even Shinji manages to accept himself ready to be reborn and the End is where instrumentality is achieved but as Shinji cannot accept himself as a person he leaves before rebirth to die alone with Asuka who I assume also can't do it either (or was protected by EVA02 so couldn't enter to begin with).

I always thought the TV and movie endings were actually the same, the TV version just takes place in Shinji's head and the movie version is what's actually happening in the real world.

Chainsaw Man has been such an emotional rollercoaster of late. Absolute hilarity and epic action just a few weeks ago and now another punch to the feels.

Power really is the best.

It can't be the same imo, in the TV ending Shinji accepts who he is and feels like he doesn't need to pilot the EVA to have a purpose and live. In the movie ending he can't accept himself for who he is and in instrumentality all he remembers is the terrible things he's done and the things people have done to him/he even sets up that strange conversation with Asuka that never happened and he strangles her.

It really has been great since the 'turn'. That's a manga where each chapter just feels so short due to how fast I end up reading 'em.

Series 1 of The Promised Neverland is on Prime. (Subs.) I think I've seen it recommended in here. I liked the look of it but I'm not in the mood for something so downbeat at the moment.

I've been dipping in and out Parasyte (Netflix) and I think I've finally aclimatised to the gross body horror. I can still only manage it in small chunks though.

Caught up to the latest ep of Haikyu - To The Top and so am back to watching the Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa eps.

Just been browsing Amazon's pre Black Friday Bluray offers (there's nothing worth having btw) and saw they have a few anime Blurays, none of which I've heard of (mostly implied yuri/slice of life stuff by the looks of it), one title in particular made me laugh though; "Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai"

Simultaneously sounds made up and painfully stereotypical.

Watched the first five episodes of Kakegurui this morning and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It's so ridiculously anime.
