I'd recommend you just quit while you're ahead before you become one of us...

But if you decide to stay, what are you interested in?

no idea! the last anime i watched was Death Note & Cowboy Bebop back at uni.

I'm much more of a manga man myself but you can't go wrong with a lot of the following.

Similar in tone or content
Monster
Drifters
Erased
Berserk
Code Geass
Black Lagoon
Samurai Champloo
Trigun
Baccano!
Ghost in the Shell
Gantz

Other series to consider
Mob Psycho 100
One Punch Man
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Steins;Gate
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Attack on Titan

Most of this mini-arc hasn't been all that good but it's really picked up now.

Reigen is at his best here.

Anti-ESPer Dropkick and Hypnosis Punch. :slol:

This is one of Reigen's special moves

Just started on ep 12: I was ready to be pissed off at his not being dead but the way it was explained was great :) 1000%

I had to rewatch those episodes just because.

I'm glad ONE didn't have Mob go berserk and stomp like he would in any other series, the entire finale was just a masterclass in subverting expectations and it was better for it. Reigen may be a shady character but damn has he been a good influence on our loveable little Mob.

Any idea what you're gonna watch next?

The other thing they did which I loved was the way play with what we think we know: We're all like  :simper: I wonder how Reigen's powers will awaken? Because, you know, it's *so obvious* he'll end up with powers! And whilst on the one hand we're right, I bet no one expected what happened. It was fantastic.

Oh and the mix of Mob's specific animation styles took a bit of getting used to but by the end I loved it as well.

12 eps wasn't enough!

Remaining MHA s3 is next. I stopped at ep 13, so there's now a decent backlog for me to go through over the next few mornings.
I'm open to other recommendations and will also be going through the thread to see what's already been mentioned.

Honestly, if you're reading Berserk it's best to avoid the anime adaptations as they are pants by comparison. The 1997 is okay but skips some important content and the 2016/17 version should be avoided entirely.

If you are up for reading some manga then I'd add the following.

Vagabond
Blade of the Immortal
Blame!
Sun-Ken Rock
Kingdom
I Am A Hero
Vinland Saga
Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita
Zetman
Ajin
Uzumaki
Raqiya
Platinum End
Shamo
Eden: It's an endless life

I love how the reveal is just a throwaway line with Dimple too.

There were a few interesting animation techniques used in Mob Psycho 100 such as the ED and certain scenes being hand-painted on glass. I believe the final short in the mountain also had ONE come in as a guest director or key animator which was pretty neat.

Luckily we'll have season 2 in January. If they get the pacing right then I'd assume we'd also get a third season to wrap things up.

There are some good eps of My Hero Academia to look forward to although they have added a bit of filler to some episodes and last week was all anime-original for charity and the movie.

*cough cough* JoJo!

After watching and enjoying Toradora I have decided to watch a load of Gintama for a chance of pace. It's taken me until today (from finishing Toradora) to work out where I was. I'm on the episode where the was a year break but it's been 2 years in the anime itself and Shinpachi is struggle with all the changes.

There's also this site which will apparently send manga direct to your Kindle: kmanga.net Not used it myself, though.

No problem. Hope there's something to help you out in there.

I have the latest cheap-o PaperWhite and tried some manga via Amazon's Prime reading offerings. The pages loaded quickly enough for me, but turning to the next page wasn't as intuitive as I was expecting. Maybe it was down to the book in question *shrug* (Attack of Titan b1)

With this and Berserk it feels like we're getting new batches of chapters way more regularly than we have in years. Can't wait!
