There was talk of the movie containing spoilers for where the manga is at compared to the anime, but they must've been seriously minor because they either went over my head or just blended in as 'movie only' stuff. I certainly didn't walk away feeling like anything had been spoiled for me.

One HUGE improvement over the first film was that all of Class 1-A actually got to do something and play a significant part this time (Well, except Hagakure who is invisible in more ways than one and just flat out may as well not even be there most of the time). It was great seeing pretty much everyone get a chance to shine, whilst the first film had a bunch of the class not even in it and then some only in cameo appearances whilst completely missing all the action.

I was almost pissed off with the whole thing about One for All being passed to Bakugo, I had to remind myself that since this was a non-canon movie it'd just get undone by the end, and I was nearly pissed off at the initial assumption that it was just something like Bakugo passing out before the transfer was complete, but I ended up being satisfied with the explanation that One for All itself had more or less made a conscious decision to revert back to Izuku

yeah you could tell it was non cannon because timeline wise nothing matched up WHAT so ever haha. Still enjoyable though!

yeah you could tell it was non cannon because timeline wise nothing matched up WHAT so ever haha. Still enjoyable though!

Well timeline wise the movie is set ahead of where the anime is and more in line with where the manga currently is.

I watched it on the American Netflix a little while ago. It can take a little while to click, but once it gets going I really enjoyed it.
