There's a free 30 day Crunchyroll pass (via Twitch) if you sub to Amazon Prime.

I don't get it either, what happened? The blackboard says "kora", which kind of means like an annoyed "oi!" or "hey!".

EDIT: OK, I cracked and Googled it. I think I understand what's going on now. I think the show Rightey's watching is an ecchi, and they put that blackboard in front of one of the H scenes. That's pretty funny.

In regards to the translation while it says "kora", in this context it actually means "buy the DVD" :x

Just to clarify, it's not even actual nudity, the teachers shirt got wet and I assume you could see her erect nipples through the clothing. This is so lazy, and so much worse than steam or rays of light out of nowhere, it honestly pisses me off.

Also, this was on crunchy roll, I'm just using that free Amazon trial, so I have no idea how the rest of the shows are, but I would have thought a service which you pay for would at least have a version of the show with less censoring than this. Is it just because the show is airing right now? Or are all of their shows the broadcast version?

Edit: Episode 3 is even worse!

Image

It literally takes up the whole screen!

Fairly certain on the torrented version I wanted it didn't ever cover the whole screen. On times it's put like こら stickers over sensitive bits but

Yeah, they sometimes do the sticker thing to, in addition to the whole screen censor.

Has anyone been watching that Senko fox show? I watched the first episode and I was surprised because normally I like this kind of stuff but it just felt so depressing.

The main character, while generic, seems totally believable in Japan. Dude being worked to death, going unappreciated, his greatest joy in life is having some kind of human companionship.

Yeah, it's just "little foxgirl saves you from depression: the anime".

But it's adorable and just what I need coming off the back of covering multiple shifts worth of stuff on nightshift. When am I getting a 800 year old foxloli motherwife to cook me dinner and tell me I'm doing a good job?

S2 of OPM is such a let down to the point where the less stylised animation isn't even the worst aspect of it. So disappointed.

Speaking of overpowered main characters I've watched most of the Overlord anime, as well as having read the manga, and what a pile of garbage.

How did this get 3 seasons? Literally nothing of note has happened and literally every arc ends in the same way, Skeleton Man too strong! Even his minions are so strong there is never any kind of sense that something might happen to them. But he's not likable in the least like Saitama so you never even want to route for him.

The one time they had a fight where there was some sense of danger, when Ains fought Shalltear, they ruin it at the end with him saying how he just used spells to make him look weaker than he actually was, and there was never any chance of him loosing.

I started watching this because I kept seeing it get mentioned and the art is pretty cool, but now that I think back I don't think anyone actually said anything good about it, they were just talking about it.

The manga was pretty hit-and-miss at this point too though I remember enjoying it more than I am with the anime. Annoyingly, there are some decent bits of animation every now and then but it's immediately followed up by blurry shite.

If you want to jump into the superior manga, chapter 75 is where to carry on from the latest episode.

I did wonder how it compared to the manga. I also wonder just what made One alter what had been a great formula up to and including The Dominator of the Universe arc.

Agreed on OPM2 disappointment. I enjoyed the manga at this stage but it's too rushed and the new studio doing it aren't nearly as good as season 1 studio. The Web comic finally seems to be getting regular again at least.

By contrast, I enjoyed Overlord so much that I read the all of the Light Novel.

How does the OPM web-comic compare to the Manga?

I did read that Blast in in like 1 issue of the web comic and looks like Saitama with hair, even wears pretty much the same csuoee hero clothes, but they are I dunno green.

The thing with One Punch Man is that the anime is based on Murata's redrawn version of ONE's original webcomic. The tournament arc and most of season 2 so far doesn't occur in the original version, instead it was added by Murata using ONE's storboards to flesh out Garou, the Monster Association and other heroes and was mostly successful. I mention that the manga was hit-and-miss at this point of the tournament, but there was an emotional weight to Suiryu's struggle against Gouketsu, Bakuzan and the other martial artists who chose monsterisation (who also had actual fights in the manga) which just wasn't there in the anime. OPM S2 is somehow managing to not only fail in terms of animation quality but also in the basic storytelling which is a massive shame.

The pacing is a lot faster but the art takes a lot of getting used to if you've come from the anime or Murata redraw. It seems that ONE is going to be updating the series more now that Mob Psycho 100 and the Reigen spinoff have finished.

IIRC Blast has appeared as a silhouette in the manga too.
