Objectively wrong opinion. Grandma Goku sucks, you're just being a weeb.

Facts.

I don't think the English voice itself sucks but that dialogue completely butchered the character. Watching Super after Z must give dub viewers a bit of whiplash.

Consider:

Grandma is the better kid Goku, Schemmel is the better adult Goku.

Finally got around to subbing to Viz/Shonen Jump Online. Primarily for One Piece.

Does that give you access to all of the back catalogue as well as ongoing series?

Yup. By the look of it, the earliest and latest issues are free (3 issues of each – that goes for everything on there, I think), but you need to pay to get access to the full thing. Really is rude not to at less than £2 a month! (£1.60 at current rate) They take the money out monthly, and cancelling looks to be really simple as well.

I thought I'd give one of my current favourite YouTube channels a bit of exposure in here:

Comic Tropes

Analysis of comics, both good and bad. Primarily I look at the recurring elements that creators or characters use. It's all just an excuse to drill down on various techniques and comic book history.

Chris usually covers western comics, but he's a huge fan of them in general and of manga. He's also covered One Piece; MHA; Osama Tezuka/Astro Boy; Naoki Urasawa; Junji Ito; Akira; and Ghost in the Shell. He's really well informed but also entertaining in a cheesy but not overbearing way. Give him a try!

One annoying thing: it isn't always clear how to get to the archive of any given book :/

edit: the archived / latest chapters can be found here: https://www.viz.com/shonenjump  No HxH :x

The value for money for ShonenJump is incredible compared to the offerings from US services and the like. Being able to read the entirety of their series for a really small monthly price has kept me subscribing.

Think I'll sign up to that Shonen Jump subscription, hard to say no at that price when I'd love to read through some stuff.

Though I can't help being slightly disappointed that the Sailor Moon manga isn't up there. I haven't read that in an absolute age and my physical copies all got water damaged and destroyed about 15 years ago.

Sailor Moon wasn't shounen jump.

Sailor Moon wasn't shounen jump.

Wasn't it? Been so long I can't even remember! Must just be the anime that Viz have the rights to.

Oh! Yeah it was Tokyopop wasn't it? Man I haven't had anything from those guys in so long. All the good stuff seems to go SJ these days.

Any verdict on InkyPen? Tempted to get it for the switch (I don't have a tablet) - and it seems to have a decent library of manga via shounen jump?

It's series from Kodansha Publishing, so Weekly Shounen Magazine and the like rather than Weekly Shounen Jump published by Shueisha.

There are a lot of great series there but from impressions I read a few weeks ago there are some volumes missing and I don't know how often the selection is updated. I'd subscribe for a couple of months to read classics like Blame! and Battle Angel Alita if I didn't already own them.
