It isn't. (Or at least nothing showed up when I did a search. And only mention of it being shown in cinemas outside of Japan is in US and Australia.)

That was great, especially the animation and action sequences. Not overly keen on Zenitsu atm, hopefully he'll stop being such a coward as his character develops

If you want a bit more the movie continues from where the first season ended.

Wait is the movie available to watch online now?

Was wondering the same thing; I thought the release date got pushed back

Ah ok fair enough

If it got a digital release in Japan there'll probably be rips of it on nyaa

Demon Slayer 198: Muzan is like something out of The Thing  His head just strawberry floating split open to reveal a monstrous fanged maw. His face and the look on it just before it happened :dread:

199: Holy gooseberry fool

201: mummy strawberry floater! I strawberry floating knew it! Well, kind of. My guess was he was spewing some small part of himself into the ground in his giant flesh baby form to help him survive. Didn't even consider him infecting Tanjiro :( :fp:

Well that's The Promised Neverland season 2 being dropped. I could forgive some of the skipped content in the first season for the sake of streamlining but to skip entire arcs and some of the better characters in the rush to the end game is just sloppy.

What a mess.

I was a bit disappointed Muzan didn't show off more complicated attacks like some of the lesser demons - but then again, it seems becoming a tentacle blender monster with a radial paralysis attack worked better than anything else in the series. :dread:

It was hard seeing our sweet cinnamon bun Tanjiro as a demon. :(

Just got finished watching Shiki. Shame the studio that animated it closed like immediately after it aired, because this was really something special. Would recommend in general, but especially to people who are into vampire/horror media and are looking for something newer that takes the vampire genre more seriously.

Demon Slayer absolutely is. Not heard of Kaiju Number 8. I also thoroughly enjoyed Assassination Classroom. I haven't read the manga but I also think Haikyu!! is worth checking out. (I'm basing that on the anime being amazing.) A lot of people also recommend Spy x Family. Um, have you tried One Piece? There's a tonne of other classics on there. (JoJo, One-Punch Man, Bleach, Death Note. Apologies if you've already heard of those!)

Kaiju Number 8 is solid so far but it's early in it's run and is a Jump+ series so not always weekly.

Kimetsu no Yaiba is great and as it's finished now you won't have to worry about joining the weekly struggle.

Dr. Stone is worth checking out and at times it's been my favourite series in Jump. It's a different take on the battle manga with science and crafting replacing the usual abilities and weapons.

Chainsaw Man recently finished its first part before migrating to Jump+ at some point soon. It is one hell of a batshit crazy ride, tugging on your heartstrings one moment and forcing a belly laugh the next.

Spy X Family is another Jump+ series worth your time. The author knows how to put a smile on your face with cute family moments and laughs aplenty.

Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku recently finished its run in Jump+ and got a satisfying ending. Beautiful art, great battles and a decent case of characters.

Jujutsu Maiden is currently seeing a big surge in its popularity thanks to a great anime adaptation. I've fallen behind on the manga so can't say much about its current quality but I'm still hearing good things.

Undead X Unluck is a weird one. It suffered a bit from a.pervy protag early on but was quickly toned down and the battle.system and abilities are helping it develop into something decent. Could be a big hit in the future.

Mashle is the surprise hit for me. It's essentially One Punch Man in the Harry Potter world but it just works so well.

Mission Yozakura Family is entertaining enough but it doesn't really excell at anything. I will say that it is steadily improving though so I think it'll be around for a while yet.

We're in one of those transitional phases of the main magazine right now though. Numerous cancellations and new series being brought in, I think of the newest couple of batches Sakamoto Days and The Elusive Samurai are the ones to watch. The former is about an ex hitman trying to live a peaceful family life but his past coming to haunt him leading to funny moments and great action scenes, the latter is about the son of the assassinated shogun reclaiming the Shogunate with his gift of running away and avoiding attacks.

As you have a subscription there are so many completed series you have access to. I could probably recommend many more or ones more suited to your tastes so picked action heavy ones similar to MHA and Kimetsu no Yaiba. Speaking of, the MHA:Vigilantes manga is good and is sometimes referenced in the main series.

Edit: As I'm reading most series in Jump and am back at my PC I'll do a few more...

One Piece is one of the greats but is 1000+ chapters long now. If you can invest the time in a single series it is a no-brainer but is a mammoth task.

Black Clover is just sort of there, it isn't bad but it also isn't very good. The most offensive thing about the series is that the anime cast the most annoying sounding MC and it got the One Piece/Bleach/Naruto treatment of weekly episodes and gooseberry fool filler without actually earning it.

Me & Roboco is a trash-tier comedy relying entirely upon referencing other Jump series. Shishunki Renaissance David-kun did the same thing but better a couple of years ago.

Magu-chan: God of Destruction is a series I dropped early on as although it did have funny moments it also had chapters where absolutely nothing of note happened.

Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin. Like the last two it's reliant on comedy with some action. I dropped it fairly early on as it felt like a poor-mans Beelzebub which is sad as it's from the same author. I hear it's shifted to be more action oriented so perhaps it will find itself going in that direction.

Phantom Seer is one of those series with great art but the first 15 or so chapters felt like it didn't know what it wanted to be. It has, however, just come off a solid arc and things are looking more promising with some decent sales numbers so who knows. I wouldn't risk getting invested just yet though as it could easily fall off again.

Build King is by the author of Toriko and it feels like a blast from the past classic DragonBall style adventure. The world it is set in is the most interesting part where builders are like heroes who construct houses as means to protect people from monsters and the like. Sadly the main characters are the worst aspect so far.

Ayakashi Triangle is from the artist of To-Love Ru and Black Cat and fills the void of ecchi manga with suggestive imagery.

I Tell C is a detective series where one of the MC's always falls in love with the criminal. :fp:

High School Family is my guilty pleasure. A young lad enters high school only to find out that his Mother, Father, younger sister and pet cat have all entered alongside him. It's so stupid yet everything just works.

That's most of the current and some recently ended series covered.

Cheers guys, I have been looking at some of the classic series and One Piece is one I would like to try. I wanted to read Hunter x Hunter but the chapters don’t appear to be on the app to read sadly.

Death Note I have never read either so will give that a go, I’ll read a few chapters of your other suggestions and see what takes my fancy.

I was just off to bed and then High School Family caught my eye. The art looks like something from a bad Korean doujinshi porno  But the concept sounds like fun. Will keep it as a backup.
