I've been going through the old xfm podcasts again while doing some repetitive work, and I just had to leave the office and go and stand somewhere I could laugh. Absolutely in tears at Karl's rockbusters answers for this week.

That was Ricky Gervais' golden age. He's become little more than a trolling dickhead over recent years.

I was trying to explain it to a friend the other day who hasn't seen it, and even just doing that had me cracking up.

CHRIST! DE BERG!

And blue eyes, yes it was the best era. I'm on to series 3 now and while it's funny, a lot of it is now just angry shouting at Karl.

The highlight of the podcasts for me was listening to Steven Merchant regale Ricky and Karl with his holiday story of getting diarrhea in Rio during the carnival and then being on Ipanema Beach and doing a wee in the sea

Good times

You know it's going to be good when there is a Jamaican fella involved.

I know someone working on a Netflix show who saw Gervais yesterday outside the Netflix building. Apparently Karl stumbled into her office by mistake a few months back when he got lost.

It’s kinda sad that Ricky, Steve and Karl don’t hang out anymore.

From what I've heard, they still keep in touch/meet up, but just don't work together right now as they've all gone off in their own directions.

I've found two radio 2 christmas specials that I didn't know existed. One of the listeners asked Karl to say something that would prove it was live and not pre recorded.

"Erm... Happy Christmas and that"

"No Karl, we could have recorded that last week, try again"

"....Erm.......... me mum's budgie died last night"

strawberry floating hell

Just complete panic.

During that Xmas week Karl was producer for Russell Brand on his show as well. He did a few Rockbusters and apparently became friends with Brand briefly because he's mentioned in one of the podcasts.

Found the xfm stuff on Spotify, and I need a laugh so I'm going through them again.

"Karl, pull your mouth open with your fingers and say bucket and spade"

"............fuckit"

"OH KARL!"

My all time favourite Rockbusters

That woman's got her husbands gloves and a pair of her own.

Hermans Hermits

Ricky's reaction makes it I think.
